An augmented reality interaction method includes: capturing an identification tag; capturing a depth information corresponding to the identification tag; generating a virtual object according to the identification tag; generating an augmented reality image; and displaying the augmented reality image; wherein, the augmented reality image comprises the virtual object, and when a processor detects that a tactile feedback device touches the virtual object in the augmented reality image according to the depth information, the processor transmits a control signal to the tactile feedback device for controlling the tactile feedback device, and the tactile feedback device provides a hand tactile effect.

An overdriving apparatus including a memory unit, a position unit and an overdriving unit is provided. A method and an apparatus for generating a control signal are provided. This method includes following steps. First, a reset parameter is generated according to a data enable signal and a clock signal, wherein the reset parameter indicates a cycle of the data enable signal. Next, a counting value is generated according to a positive rising edge of the data enable signal and the reset parameter. Finally, a control signal is generated according to the counting value. As a result, the control signal can be continually generated to apply various techniques when variation the data enable signal is ceased.

The method includes determining gray information of a plurality of data of an input image, wherein each piece of information corresponds to a count value. In addition, a fixed value is sequentially added to the corresponding count value according to the gray information of the data. When the count value exceeds a predetermined value, the count value is reset and the gray distribution of the image is updated. When the count value exceeds a predetermined value, the count unit outputs a pulse signal corresponding to the predetermined gray information. The data allotment unit updates the statistics of the gray distribution of the image stored in the memory unit according to the pulse signal. The present invention reduces the number of the registers the counters require and decreases hardware costs.

An image compression/decompression device and a method thereof are provided. In the method, a first array is generated according to an input image array, and further, a second array is generated by performing an edge detection algorithm according to the input image array. Besides, a plurality of elements of a third array is generated according to the first array. Furthermore, a group of elements of the third array is selected according to the second array. In addition, an average value of the group of elements is computed to obtain an element of an output image array. Each element of the input image array and the third array is M bits, and each element of the first array is N bits, wherein M and N are natural numbers, and M is larger than N. Thereby, the quality of a decompressed image is improved.
