A supporting bracket assembly for supporting a base unit of a portable computer includes a base, a supporting bracket, a locking member, and an operation portion. The supporting bracket is pivotably engaged with the base. The supporting bracket includes a supporting arm with a locking ring. A plurality of locking holes is defined in the locking ring. The locking member is slidably arranged in the base. The locking member includes a positioning post. The positioning post is selectively inserted in one of the locking holes of the supporting arm to lock the supporting bracket. The operation portion is connected with the locking member, and the locking member is driven by the operation portion to slide for locking or unlocking the supporting bracket.

Supporting bracket assembly

A latch mechanism for fixing a cover unit to a base unit of a foldable electronic device in a closed position is provided. The cover unit includes two locking portions. The base unit defines two slots. The latch mechanism includes a locking member, and at least one resilient member. The locking member is configured for being slidably received in the base unit. The locking member includes two protrusions. The locking portions of the cover unit extend through the corresponding slots of the base unit, and engage with the corresponding protrusions of the locking member for fixing the cover unit in the closed position. The resilient member is engagable with the locking member, for keeping the locking member in a locked position.

Latch mechanism for foldable electronic device

A Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) device includes a bezel, a mounting bracket, a movable bracket, and an LCD panel. The bezel defines an opening. The mounting bracket is mounted to a side of the bezel. The movable bracket is slidably mounted to an opposite side of the bezel and movable with respect to the mounting bracket. The LCD panel is sandwiched between the mounting bracket and the movable bracket and visible via the opening in the bezel. The cover is mounted to the bezel.

A button assembly includes a bezel, an elastic member, and a button. The bezel defines a through hole. The elastic member forms a locating portion on an end thereof, and a mounting portion on the other end thereof. The locating portion is movably mounted to the bezel. The button is assembled on the mounting portion of the elastic member. The button includes a manipulating section extending through the through hole of the bezel.

A latch mechanism for an electronic device is secured to a base of the electronic device. The latch mechanism includes a latch lever including a pressing portion for being applied an external force along a first direction and at least one latch portion for clasping a cover of the electronic device, at least one fulcrum plate for being secured to the base, at least one lifting plate deflectably secured to the fulcrum plate, at least one first elastic member positioned between the latch lever and the fulcrum plate to provide a first restoration force along the first direction to the latch lever, and at least one second elastic member positioned between the fulcrum plate and the lifting plate to provide a second restoration force to a side of the lifting plate so as to make the other side of the lifting plate resist against the cover.
