A method for operating user equipment (UE) includes generating, by the UE, a transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) list including one or more TPMIs selected from a set of available TPMIs stored at a base station (BS). Data indicative of the TPMI list is transmitted to the BS. An index of the TPMI list is transmitted to the BS. Downlink control information (DCI) is received from the BS including an indication of at least one TPMI from the TPMI list based on the index. Uplink data is transmitted to the BS on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) using the at least one TPMI.

Full power uplink transmission enhancement

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a wireless device and a cellular base station to support common analog beam steering for band groups. The wireless device may provide an indication of analog beam steering capability of the wireless device to the cellular base station. For example, the wireless device may support a limited number of analog beams for each of one or more band groups. The cellular base station may select beam configuration information for the wireless device based at least in part on the indication of analog beam steering capability of the wireless device. This may include selecting a common beam for multiple component carriers for the wireless device based on the wireless device's analog beam steering capability. The cellular base station may provide the beam configuration information to the wireless device.

Common analog beam steering for band groups

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for providing downlink control for non-coherent joint transmission. A cellular base station may provide downlink control information associated with a non-coherent joint transmission downlink data communication to a wireless device, which may receive the downlink control information. The downlink control information may be provided as a single downlink control information including scheduling information for two data streams of the non-coherent joint transmission data communication, or a portion of a multi-stage downlink control information transmission. The wireless device may receive the non-coherent joint transmission downlink data communication based at least in part on the downlink control information.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration indicating a grid of traffic arrival times that includes a plurality of grids associated with respective time intervals. The UE may monitor a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) during a first time interval associated with a first grid, of the plurality of grids. The UE may receive an indication to skip PDCCH monitoring based at least in part on monitoring the PDCCH during the first time interval. The UE may monitor the PDCCH during a second time interval associated with a second grid, of the plurality of grids. The UE may not monitor the PDCCH until a start of the second time interval based at least in part on the indication to skip the PDCCH monitoring. Numerous other aspects are described.

Grid-aligned physical downlink control channel skipping for periodic traffic

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. SSB based inter-frequency measurements may include configuring a UE to perform inter-frequency measurements without measurement gap within a measurement window, and applying scheduling restrictions to prioritize the inter-frequency measurements over uplink transmissions within the measurement window. The measurement window includes an SMTC window duration. Measurement resource sharing or restriction is described for SSB based inter-frequency measurement objects without measurement gap.

To extend a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) in wireless communications, an extended physical broadcast channel (EPBCH) transmission is generated with one or more legacy PBCH blocks and one or more EPBCH blocks within an extension window. A size of the extension window is determined based at least in part on a PBCH repetition number and a number of the legacy PBCH blocks relative to a number of the EPBCH blocks. The EPBCH transmission is transmitted by a base station (BS) to one or more user equipment (UE).

A method, user equipment (UE) and integrated circuit for receiving data transmitted over a wireless network. The method includes executing an application that receives data from the network, transmitting UE assistance information to the network, wherein the UE assistance information corresponds to a traffic pattern for the data that is received from the network for the application, entering a radio resource control (RRC) inactive state and receiving the data from the network while in the RRC inactive state.

A method that determines a resource at a first user equipment (UE) for a sidelink communication from the second UE to a first UE is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the method receives a request from the second UE to send data to the first UE. In addition, the method determines a preconfigured resource selection window that is used by the second UE. Furthermore, the method determines a first sensing result at the first UE. The determined first sensing result includes information to be reported to the second UE for a resource selection. The determined first sensing results has a plurality of first sensing types. Further, the method transmits the first sensing result from the first UE to the second UE.

Methods and apparatus for sidelink resource exclusion for intra-device coordination in wireless communication

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for a user equipment device (UE) to perform methods for Fifth Generation New Radio (5G NR) frequency range two (FR2) based communications beam management. The UE may configure, via communications with a base station, serving the UE, a group ID for PUCCH resources within a group of PUCCHs, e.g., for FR2 based communications. The UE may receive, from the base station, an update to one or more PUCCH resources within the group of PUCCHs via a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) that may include one of a resource ID indicating an update to a PUCCH resource or the group ID to update the group of PUCCH resources. The UE may update, based on the MAC-CE, the one or more PUCCH resources within the group of PUCCHs.

5G NR FR2 beam management enhancements

A user equipment (UE) may identify a resource for a joint uplink transmission comprising a sounding reference signal and a scheduling request. The UE may receive a grant of a set of resources for an uplink data transmission to a base station. This disclosure relates to orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) communication in wireless local area networks (WLANs). According to some embodiments, a downlink OFDMA frame may be transmitted. An uplink OFDMA frame including acknowledgements associated with the downlink OFDMA frame may be received. The uplink OFDMA frame may be processed, in some instances including determining which devices receiving the downlink OFDMA frame transmitted an acknowledgement associated with the downlink OFDMA frame in the uplink OFDMA frame.
