A method and device for generating synthetic vortex sound field (SVSF) with more mode number includes the following steps: (1) a transducer array composed of N transducer units is constructed, and each transducer unit emits a sound field to generate an initial sound field; (2) at the same time, the position of the transducer unit and the phase of the sound field emitted by each transducer unit are changed, and each change produces a sound field, and thus changings times produces of sound fields, wherein the way to change the position of the transducer unit is to rotate the transducer array as a whole; (3) the initial sound field is superimposed with s of sound fields generated in step (2), to obtain SVSF with more mode number. The method and device for generating vortex sound field (VSF) can be used for underwater communication or acoustic imaging.

Method and device for generating synthetic vortex sound field with more mode number

A novel synthetic uniform circular array (SUCA) method for generating vortex electromagnetic (EM) wave carrying high orbital angular momentum (OAM) mode has the following steps. N antenna elements are placed radially to form a uniform circular array (UCA), where N is a positive integer. By rotating the array elements to various spatial locations, modifying their feeding phases, and superimposing the generated fields at various spatial locations, SUCA can beat the limit of space and configure more array elements to generate vortex electromagnetic (EM) waves carrying high mode OAMs. Meanwhile, due to the more synthetic array elements and smaller aperture than the traditional UCA, the purity of OAM mode is higher and it is more flexible to adjust the main lobe directions of these vortex waves carrying different OAM modes, and can generate vortex EM waves.

Method for synthesizing vortex electromagnetic wave carrying high orbital angular momentum (OAM) mode

A left-handed material extended interaction klystron includes: an input cavity, a middle cavity, an output cavity, first-section drift tube and a second-section drift tube; wherein the input cavity, the middle cavity and the output cavity are all cylindrical resonant cavities having arrays of Complementary electric Split-Ring Resonator (CeSRR) unit cells provided therein; wherein a first side of the input cavity is an input channel of an electron beam, a second side connects the middle cavity via the first-section drift tube; a first T-shaped coaxial input structure is provided in the input cavity; a first side of the output cavity is for connecting a collector, a second side of the output cavity connects the middle cavity via the second-section drift tube, a second T-shaped coaxial output structure is provided in the output cavity.

The present invention provides a miniature wideband antenna for 5G, which includes a dielectric substrate, a coplanar waveguide feed structure on a front of the dielectric substrate, a main radiator, a second and third radiators and a first radiator on a back of the dielectric substrate. The antenna is small in size with operation band of 3 GHz-30 GHz which covers the various 5G frequency band and covers the current wireless modes of Wi-MAX, W-LAN, UWB and so on. The antenna guarantees future compatibility for various complicated communication modes and has good perspectives for many applications. Based on the antenna, the double-unit and four-unit MIMO antenna adopts orthogonal polarization and metamaterial unit. Thus, high unit separation is achieved without increase on the size of the antenna unit. The present invention has wide applications in small mobile device such as cell phone and laptop.

Miniature wideband antenna for 5G mobile networks

A metamaterial high-power microwave source relates to the fields of vacuum electronic technology, particle physics, and accelerators, including: a cathode, a metamaterial slow-wave structure (SWS), a waveguide and coaxial line coupler located at one end of the metamaterial SWS and a collector component located at the other end of the metamaterial SWS. The metamaterial SWS provided by the present invention is greatly smaller than a rectangular waveguide having the same frequency, so as to realize a miniaturization of devices and facilitate integration with semiconductor devices. The waveguide and coaxial line coupler has a good transmission characteristic and a low reflection in a relatively wide frequency band, which guarantees a high-efficient coupling output of a signal. Moreover, the metamaterial high-power microwave source has a high-power output and a pulsed output power reaching a megawatt level.

A miniaturized all-metal slow-wave structure includes: a circular metal waveguide; and metal electric resonance units provided in the circular metal waveguide; wherein the metal electric resonance unit provided in the circular metal waveguide includes a ring-shaped electric resonance metal plate with an electron beam tunnel provided on a center thereof, and a ring plate body of the ring-shaped electric resonance metal plate has two auricle-shaped through-holes symmetrically aside an axial-section; a main body of the auricle-shaped through-hole is a ring-shaped hole, two column holes extending towards a center of a circle are provided at two ends of the ring-shaped hole; the ring-shaped electric resonance metal plates are perpendicular to an axis and are provided inside the circular metal waveguide with equal intervals therebetween, external surfaces of the ring-shaped electric resonance metal plates are mounted on an internal surface of the circular metal waveguide.

Miniaturized all-metal slow-wave structure

A method for generating high power electromagnetic radiation based on double-negative metamaterial (DNM), includes providing electrons of an electron beam moving in a vacuum close to an interface between the DNM and the vacuum at a predetermined average speed larger than a phase velocity of an electromagnetic wave propagating in the DNM so as to generate coherent high power radiation. The method can be applied but not limited to high power and compact Terahertz radiation sources and Cherenkov particle detectors and emitters.

Method for generating high power electromagnetic radiation based on double-negative metamaterial

The present invention provides a helical slow-wave structure, including a helix, a metal barrel and several supporting rods. The plurality of supporting rods may be inserted into the lines of the grooves tightly, this increases the contact area between the helix and the plurality of supporting rods. With a proper assembly method, the thermal contact resistance between helix and supporting rod may be decreased. So, the invention may enhance the capability of transferring the heat out of the helical slow-wave structure. The helix may have higher heat capacity, therefore, the helical slow-wave structure may become more firm, and more reliable.
