A luminescent material, a light emitting device, and a display device are disclosed. The luminescent material includes particles and a phosphor. The particles include quantum dots and have an average diameter of 0.06 &#x3bc;m to 30 &#x3bc;m.

Luminescent material and light emitting device and display device using the same

A light-emitting material, a method for producing the light-emitting material and a display apparatus are provided. An average particle size of the light-emitting material is 0.1 &#x3bc;m to 30 &#x3bc;m, and an average distance between outermost quantum dots of a particle of the light-emitting material and a surface of the particle of the light-emitting material is 0.5 nm to 25 nm, or a minimum distance between the outermost quantum dots of a particle of the light-emitting material and the surface of the particle of the light-emitting material is 0.1 nm to 20 nm.

Moreover, the normalized dissolved content of calcium of the phosphor is 1&#x2dc;25 ppm, thereby obtaining a phosphor of high brilliance in the 600&#x2dc;680 nm region. In addition, the present invention at the same time provides a high brilliance light emitting device.

Phosphor and light emitting device

A phosphor and a light emitting device are provided. The phosphor comprises a composition having a formula of (BaSr)SiON:Eu, 0.03&#x3c;a&#x3c;0.75, 0&#x3c;b&#x3c;1, 7&#x3c;n&#x3c;9, and 0.03&#x3c;z&#x3c;0.3.

The phosphor also contains 10-500 ppm of molybdenum (Mo). Moreover, the luminescent device includes the phosphor containing the composition represented by the formula (I).

Phosphor and luminescent device

The present invention provides a phosphor, including a constituent having the formula CaSrM-A-B&#x2014;O&#x2014;N:Eu, wherein M selected from the group consisting of beryllium and zinc; A selected from the group consisting of aluminum, gallium, indium, scandium, yttrium, lanthanum, gadolinium and lutetium; B selected from a group consisting of silicon, germanium, tin, titanium, zirconium and hafnium; 0&#x3c;p&#x3c;1; 0&#x3c;q&#x3c;1; 0&#x2266;m&#x2266;1; 0&#x2266;t&#x2266;0.3; 0.00001&#x2266;r&#x2266;0.1; a=1, 0.8&#x2266;b&#x2266;1.2; and 2.7&#x2266;n&#x2266;3.1; and the phosphor contains 20&#x2dc;1500 ppm of magnesium and/or 40&#x2dc;5000 ppm of barium. A high brightness phosphor emitting in the 600&#x2dc;680 nm region is achieved by means of adjusting the proportion of each of the elements of the phosphor, and in combination with controlling concentration of the magnesium and barium of the phosphor within a specific range. In addition, the present invention provides a light emitting device provided with high brilliance.
