A method for manufacturing a striking plate of a golf club head includes the steps of: a sewing step, in which at least one roving material is sewn onto a base material so as to form a laminate blank with an uneven thickness in a normal direction of the base material; and a forming step, in which the laminate blank is placed in a mold cavity of a mold and is formed into the striking plate with an uneven thickness.

A process for manufacturing a golf club head includes steps of: placing a patterned release film on a lower mold half, making the patterned release film intimately contact an upward pressed region of the lower mold half, laminating a carbon fiber composite sheet on the patterned release film to form a laminate, hot-pressing the laminate by pressing a downward pressing region of an upper mold half toward the upward pressed region of the lower mold half to thereby form a decorative piece, and fitting the decorative piece into a depressed region of a club head body to obtain the golf club head.

Process for manufacturing a golf club head

A golf club head includes a head body formed with a cavity, and a counterweight unit fitted in the cavity and including a sleeve body and an insert body. The sleeve body has a first end face, a second end face, first and second cavities, and first and second inner walls. The first inner wall has at least one first corner. The second inner wall has at least one second corner out of alignment with the first corner. The sleeve body further has at least one shoulder face formed at a junction of the first and second cavities. The insert body includes an insert portion removably inserted into the sleeve body, and an abutting portion extending outward from the sleeve body and abutting against the first end face. The insert portion has at least one flange engaging the second corner and having a stop face abutting against the shoulder face.

Golf club head

A golf club head includes a hollow head body, a metal plate, and a compression resistant plate. The hollow head body is formed with an opening. The metal plate is fixed to the hollow head body, covers the opening, and has a thickness ranging from 0.1 to 0.5 mm. The compression resistant plate is bonded to an inner surface of the metal plate and spans the opening.
