A capacitive touch panel and a display device using the capacitive touch panel are provided. The capacitive touch panel includes a first electrode layer, a second electrode layer, and a dielectric layer disposed between two layers. The first electrode layer has a plurality of first A electrode strings and first B electrode strings extended along a first direction. The first A electrode string and the first B electrode string respectively has a plurality of first direction electrodes. The second electrode layer has a plurality of second direction electrodes connected in series along a second direction. The first A and B electrode strings are disconnected in the first electrode layer while they are simultaneously detected for presence of signal variation.

The present invention provides a touch panel used in a display device. The touch panel of the present invention is configured to display images and to receive as well as to process instructions inputted by user's touches. A display substrate partially overlaps with an image driving circuit substrate of the touch panel. A touch sensing circuit is disposed on the inner side of the display substrate. A touch sensing processor is disposed on the inner side of a touch sensing circuit and is also electrically coupled to the touch sensing circuit. Consequently, the thickness of the touch panel as well as the overall thickness of the display device is reduced.

An organic light emitting display includes a current driving unit, an organic light emitting diode and a memory unit. The current driving unit is employed to provide a driving current according to a driving voltage generated therein. The organic light emitting diode generates a light output based on the driving current. The operation of the memory unit is controlled by a first auxiliary power voltage and a second auxiliary power voltage. When the first auxiliary power voltage is greater than the second auxiliary power voltage, the memory unit is enabled to perform a voltage retaining operation on the driving voltage. When the second auxiliary power voltage is greater than the first auxiliary power voltage, the memory unit is disabled for ceasing the voltage retaining operation.

Organic light emitting display having pixel data self-retaining functionality

An exemplary pixel circuit includes an OLED, a storage capacitor, a driving transistor and first through fourth switching transistors. The driving transistor is for driving the OLED at a predetermined brightness. The first source/drain electrode of the driving transistor is coupled to a terminal of the storage capacitor, the second source/drain electrode is coupled to the OLED, and the gate electrode is coupled to receive a data voltage through the first switching transistor. Gate-on voltages of the first and second switching transistors are in opposite phases to each other, and the first and second switching transistors are controlled by the same control signal. Likewise, gate-on voltages of the third and fourth switching transistors are in opposite phases to each other, and the third and fourth switching transistors are controlled by the same control signal. A pixel driving method is also disclosed.

The first sensing series is disposed on the substrate and extends along a first direction. The first sensing series includes several first sensing pads and at least one first bridge line. The second sensing series is disposed on the substrate and extends along a second direction. The first direction is different from the second direction. A color filter substrate including a substrate, a plurality of patterned color filter layers, and a plurality of sensing serials is provided. The substrate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The substrate includes a plurality of display regions arranged in array and a separated region located between the display regions. The patterned color filter layers are arranged in array on the first surface and corresponding to the display regions. The sensing serials are arranged on the second surface and insulated from each other. Each sensing serial includes a plurality of sensing pads; a plurality of bridging lines, each connected with two adjacent sensing pads; a plurality of patterned conductive layers stacked and electrically connected with the sensing pads. The position of the patterned conductive layers is corresponding to the separated region. A touch-sensing liquid crystal display and a touch-sensing substrate are also provided.

An exemplary pixel circuit includes an organic light emitting diode (OLED), a storage capacitance, a driving transistor and first through fourth switching transistors. The driving transistor is for generating a pixel current according to a charge amount stored on the storage capacitance to drive the OLED at a predetermined luminance. The on/off states of the first through fourth transistors are controlled by the same control signal. By means of particular electrical connection relationships of the first through fourth transistors in the pixel circuit, the pixel current flowing through the OLED is irrelevant to the power supply voltage and the threshold voltage of the driving transistor but is increased along with the increase of a cross-voltage of the OLED resulting from long-term use. The present invention also provides an active matrix OLED display using the above-mentioned pixel circuit and a driving method for the pixel circuit.

A resistance type touch display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate disposed above the first substrate. The first substrate includes many scan lines and data lines defining many pixel regions on the first substrate, many pixel units and touch units. Each pixel unit is located in one of the pixel regions and electrically connected with one of the scan lines and data lines respectively. Each touch unit is electrically connected with one of the scan lines and data lines and distributed in at least two pixel regions. The second substrate includes many spacers, many touch protrusions and a common electrode covering the spacers and the touch protrusions. Each touch protrusion is located above one of the touch units and a gap is formed between the common electrode disposed on each touch protrusion and the touch unit.

A touch panel includes two substrates, a sealant positioned between the substrates, a liquid crystal layer disposed between the substrates and enclosed by the sealant, and a first and a second sensing zones disposed on the substrate, wherein the first sensing zone is enclosed by the second sensing zone, and the second sensing zone is enclosed by the sealant. The first and second sensing zones have at least a first sensor and at least a second sensor respectively. An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panel and driving method thereof is provided. The OLED panel includes a plurality of data lines, scan lines, pixels, sampling voltage lines and compensation voltage lines. The sampling voltage line transmits a compensation voltage in response to compensation signals from the data lines, threshold voltages of driving transistors and organic light emitting diodes in the pixels connected to the same scan line. The corresponding compensation voltage line adjusts data signals transmitted into the pixels connected to the same scan line in response to the compensation voltage.
