A user equipment for wireless communication is provided. The UE operates within an active bandwidth part (BWP) of a component carrier, wherein the active BWP is a portion of a total bandwidth of the component carrier, determines a configuration for a dynamic channel state information (CSI) measurement gap, the dynamic CSI measurement gap including channel state information (CSI) measurement resources having a frequency domain occupation within the total bandwidth of the component carrier and outside of the active BWP, measures the CSI measurement resources included in the dynamic CSI measurement gap, and transmits a CSI report based on the measured CSI measurement resources.

Each CSI-RS resource set includes one or more CSI-RS resources. The CSI report configuration also configures a plurality of codebooks for reporting CSI. A user equipment (UE) may receive first control signaling including an energy saving mode indication that identifies one or more energy saving modes of a network entity, one or more respective bandwidth parts (BWPs) associated with each of the one or more energy saving modes, and one or more respective durations over which each of the one or more energy saving modes is to be used at the network entity. The UE may receive second control signaling scheduling a data signal to be communicated between the UE and the network entity over a duration over which an energy saving mode is to be used at the network entity. The UE may communicate the data signal over the duration in accordance with the energy saving mode and using a BWP associated with the energy saving mode.

The UE measures interference of a signal from the aggressor UE, and based on the measurement, determines one or more rank values for the aggressor UE, less than or equal to the maximum rank. The UE may further determine one or more channel parameters for downlink transmissions the UE receives, corresponding to the determined rank values. The UE then transmits a channel state information (CSI) report that includes an indication of at least one of the one or more rank values for the aggressor UE. A network node generates a precoding matrix including a number of sub-matrices equal to a number of antenna groups. A first sub-matrix for a first antenna group is the same for each frequency domain resource unit of a frequency domain resource group. A phase of each subsequent sub-matrix for each subsequent antenna group is shifted to be orthogonal for each frequency domain resource unit. The network node applies the precoding matrix to both a data signal and a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) of a transmission for each frequency domain resource unit of the frequency domain resource group and transmits the precoded transmission via the antenna groups. A UE receives the transmission having non-transparent precoder cycling, estimates a channel of the transmission based on the precoding matrix, and demodulates the data signal based on the estimated channel.

In some systems, a base station and multiple user equipment (UEs) may participate in a federated learning operation in which each UE may transmit an unencoded uplink signal to the base station indicating one or more parameters associated with updating a local model at the UE. The base station may aggregate and average the received parameters to update a global model at the base station. Additionally, each UE that transmits an unencoded uplink signal may transmit reporting information associated with the unencoded uplink signal indicating that the unencoded uplink signal is transmitted or that a downlink control information was received. The base station may use the reporting information to determine an averaging value with which to average the aggregation of the received parameters.
