Methods for driving devices capable of displaying images and processing audio messages are provided. A representative method comprises: operating a device capable of displaying images and processing audio messages at a first operating frequency when the device is not processing audio messages; and operating the device at a second operating frequency higher than the first frequency when the device is processing audio messages.

Methods for driving devices capable of displaying images and processing audio messages

A driver device for providing multi-resolution modes for a display device, a liquid crystal display panel for example, is provided in this invention. This display driver includes a pixel circuit and a gate driving circuit. The gate driving circuit is coupled to the pixel circuit via a plurality of gate lines and determines either an original gate driving signal or a target gate driving signal to be the gate drive signal in response to the gate control signal. Wherein a switch circuit is configured for switching between the original driving signal and the target gate driving signal via a plurality of switches corresponding to shift registers therein. A source driving circuit is further incorporated in this present invention to configure a multi-resolution display device, coupled to the pixel circuit via a plurality of source lines and outputs the source driving signal in response to a source control signal.

Multi-resolution driver device

A light-on aging test system electrically connected with a plurality of flat panel displays for conducting aging test to the flat panel displays, which includes at least a signal generator for generating a power signal and a first control signal, at least a signal regulating circuit electrically connected with the signal generator for regulating the first control signal into a second control signal according to an examination condition, and a voltage boosting circuit electrically connected with the signal regulating circuit for boosting the signal level and driving capability of the power signal and the second control signal. The boost power signal is outputted to drive the flat panel displays and the second control signal is inputted to the flat panel displays to perform light-on aging test to the flat panel displays.
