A touch and display integrated circuit (IC) and a touch and display device are disclosed. The touch and display IC includes a first display driving pad set, a second display driving pad set, first touch pad sets, and second touch pad sets. The first display driving pad set and the second display driving pad set are respectively connected to a first display driver and a second display driver on a touch display device through first leading wires. The first touch pad sets are connected to a touch circuit on the touch display device through second leading wires. The second touch pad sets are connected to the touch circuit through third leading wires. The first touch pad sets and the second touch pad sets are disposed between the first display driving pad set and the second display driving pad set, thereby reducing signal interference.

The touch panel includes a plurality of first electrodes, a plurality of second electrodes, and a plurality of bridge structures. Each of the first electrodes includes a first branch, a second branch, a third branch and a fourth branch. The first and second branches are opposite to each other, and the third and fourth branches are opposite to each other. Each of the second electrodes includes a fifth branch, a sixth branch, a seventh branch and an eighth branch. The fifth and sixth branches are adjacently connected to each other, and the seventh and eighth branches are adjacently connected to each other. Each of the bridge structures connects the first and second branches of the first electrode. The third branch, the seventh branch, the first branch and the fifth branch are alternately arranged, and the fourth branch, the eighth branch, the second branch and the sixth branch are alternately arranged.

A display panel and an operation method of the display panel are provided. The display panel includes a display area and a frame area. The display area is configured to display an image. During a touch sensing period, the display area and the frame area emit an uplink signal to perform an active stylus touch detection operation.

Display panel and operation method thereof

An in-cell optical sensing display panel includes a pixel array, a plurality of first optical sensors and a plurality of second optical sensors. The pixel array is disposed in an active area of the in-cell optical sensing display panel, and the active area includes a first region and a second region which surrounds the first region. The sensor array is disposed in the first region of the active area and is configured to sense a fingerprint of a finger touching a surface of the in-cell optical sensing display panel. The second optical sensors are disposed in the second region of the active area and are configured to sense ambient light, and the second optical sensors are not to be used for fingerprint sensing.

A touch integrated display device includes a substrate, at one metal layer, a touch sensor and trace layer, and a shielding layer. The substrate includes an active area and a fan out area neighbouring to the active area. The metal layer is disposed over the substrate in the active area, extended to the fan out area and includes a plurality of source lines and a plurality of gate lines. The touch sensor and trace layer is disposed over the metal layer in the active area and extended to the fan out area. The shielding layer is at least disposed at an overlap region of the fan out area where the metal layer and the touch sensor and trace layer are overlapped from a top view to shield electromagnetic interference between the metal layer and the touch sensor and trace layer.

Touch integrated display device

A touch display panel including a substrate, a first touch sensor layer and a display electrode layer is provided. The first touch sensor layer is disposed on the substrate and patternized into a plurality of blocks for serving as a plurality of first touch sensor electrodes. The first touch sensor electrodes are grouped into a plurality of touch sensor units. Each touch sensor unit includes one or more first touch sensor electrodes. At least one first touch sensor electrode of each touch sensor unit serves as a transmitting electrode during a touch sensing period. The display electrode layer is disposed between the substrate and the first touch sensor layer and patternized into a plurality of blocks for serving as a plurality of display electrodes. The display electrodes are grouped into a plurality of display units. Each display unit includes one or more display electrodes. Each display unit is respectively corresponding to a touch sensor unit of the plurality of touch sensor units.

Touch display panel and a touch control circuit

An electronic device controlling a touch panel and performing a proximity sensing method is provided. The electronic device includes a touch controller. The touch controller is configured to group a plurality of touch sensors into a sensing group of one or more touch sensors and a non-sensing group of one or more touch sensors, control the sensing group to perform a proximity or hover sensing operation during a first sensing period and not control the non-sensing group to perform the proximity or hover sensing operation during the first sensing period, set one or more first touch sensors of the non-sensing group to a floating state during the first sensing period, and set one or more second touch sensors of the non-sensing group to a simultaneously-driven state during the first sensing period.

Method for proximity sensing

A display panel includes a common electrode layer and a touch sensor. The common electrode layer has a conductive material. The touch sensor, disposed over the common electrode layer, includes a plurality of touch sensing electrodes and a plurality of conductive lines. Each of the plurality of conductive lines is coupled to at least one of the plurality of touch sensing electrodes. Wherein, the conductive material in an area of the common electrode layer overlapping a part of the plurality of conductive lines is removed.

A touch display panel includes a first patterned metal layer and a second patterned metal layer. The first patterned metal layer includes a first signal line and one or more first segments. The second patterned metal layer is disposed above the first patterned metal layer and includes a second signal line and one or more second segments, wherein the one or more second segments are electrically connected to the one or more first segments such that the one or more first segments and the one or more second segments collectively form at least a part of a touch sensing line.
