The present invention is to improve a performance of a transformer having wound iron cores. The transformer having the wound iron cores which have multi-layer band-shape magnetic material, and a coil wound to pass through an inner circumference of the wound iron core, includes a wound iron core holding member that is a member longer than a width of the wound iron core for supporting an upper inner portion of the wound iron core, a coil holding member for supporting a lower outer portion of the coil, a first support structure including an upper beam arranged on an outer circumference of the wound iron core to support the wound iron core holding member, and a lower beam arranged on an outer circumference of the coil to support the coil holding member, and a second support structure including a pair of outer plates arranged on an inner portion of the upper frame and connected to a connection member that is longer than a width obtained by adding a diameter of the wound iron core and a diameter of the coil, and a wound iron core protection structure that is longer than a width of the wound iron core, for covering a portion where the outer circumference of the coil and an inner portion of the wound iron core face each other, and being connected to the outer plates.

Transformer

The invention is directed to a stationary induction electric device that can reduce loss. To this end, the stationary induction electric device is provided with a first iron core block erected and formed in an annular shape, a second iron core block configured to surround the outer periphery of the first iron core block, a winding wound around the first and the second iron core blocks, a first support plate supporting the upper portion of the first iron core block from below, and a second support plate supporting the upper portion of the second iron core block from below, and a curvature radius of a curved portion appearing on the outer periphery of the lower portion of the second iron core block is made larger than a curvature radius of a curved portion appearing on the outer periphery of the upper portion of the second iron core block.

Stationary induction electric device

Provided is an organic electroluminescent device which is suitable for use in full-color and multicolor panels and shows higher luminous efficiency and better driving stability than organic electroluminescent devices utilizing luminescence from the singlet state. The organic electroluminescent device comprises a substrateand an anode, organic layers, and a cathodepiled one upon another on the substrate, at least one of the organic layers comprises a light-emitting layercontaining a host material and a dopant material, and a compound having 2 to 4 pyrazole structures represented by the following formula I (wherein Arto Arare independently hydrogen or substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon groups or aromatic heterocyclic groups) is used as said host material.

Organic electroluminescent device

This invention provides an organic electroluminescent element (organic EL element) utilizing phosphorescence which emits light efficiently with high luminance at low current density, shows good driving stability and is applicable to display devices such as flat panel displays and illuminating devices. The element comprises an anode, organic layers and a cathode piled one upon another on a substrate, at least one of the organic layers is a light-emitting layer containing a host material and a dopant material and a pyrazole-derived compound having 2-4 pyrazole structures represented by the following formula I in the same molecule is used as said host material; wherein, Ar-Arare independently hydrogen or substituted or unsubstituted aromatic hydrocarbon groups and at least one of Ar-Aris a group other than hydrogen.

A zoom lens includes a negative first group disposed on the enlarging side and comprising, in succession from the enlarging side, a negative first lens whose reducing side surface has a sharper curvature than the enlarging side surface, a positive second lens whose enlarging side surface has a sharper curvature than the reducing side surface, and a negative third lens, and a positive second group disposed on the reducing side. A variable magnification optical system includes two movable groups of the so-called symmetric orthometer type each of which includes a positive power lens, a negative power lens and a meniscus positive lens that are in sequence disposed symmetrically with respect to a diaphragm, said optical system further including negative lenses mounted outside said movable groups symmetrically with respect to said diaphragm to form a fixed group, said movable groups being moved along the optical axis relative to said fixed group in symmetrical fashion with respect to said diaphragm to vary the focal length of said optical system, the entire optical system being moved as one body to bring the object and image planes into a position that they are optically conjugate with each other.

Variable magnification optical system

An image rotating optical system provided with an imaging optical element for forming an image, an image rotating optical element rotatable about the optical axis of the imaging optical element to rotate the light beam therefrom, and a light shield element positioned between the imaging optical element and the image rotating optical element and rotatable about the optical axis with the rotation of image rotating optical element, to correct the unevenness in the illuminance caused by the image rotating optical element.

Optical scanning device

An optical system for scanning a surface to be scanned in a slit-like form includes an image forming optical system for forming the image of the surface to be scanned, and a scanner for scanning the surface to be scanned disposed between the image forming optical system and a position whereat the image of the surface to be scanned is formed. The scanner varies the direction of the optical axis of the system three or greater odd number times to thereby make the direction of the optical axis incident on the scanner and the direction of the optical axis emergent from the scanner into the same direction.

This specification discloses a scanning illuminating device in a copying apparatus of the slit exposure type in which a movable slit area of an original is projected upon a movable photosensitive medium by a projection lens. The device is characterized in that light sources are fixed to the opposite end portions of the original surface with respect to the scanning direction, the magnification of the light source image becomes gradually greater at one end of the scanning direction and gradually smaller at the other end of the scanning direction, and imaging elements are moved in the scanning direction so that the illumination distribution on the original surface is formed so as to compensate for the loss of quantity of light of the projection lens due to the so-called cos biquadratic rule or the like to thereby enable copying of uniform density in the scanning direction.

Scanning illuminating device

A scanning illuminator has a compact structure suitable for use in high speed copying machines and is adapted to reflect light beams from two light sources fixed adjacent to the opposite ends of an original supporting area to the surface of an original by means of rotary mirrors and translating mirrors for illuminating the original surface in a slit shape. The scanning illuminator has a flexibility in optical adjustment.

Scanning illuminator

A scanning illuminator suitable for use in high speed copying machines is adapted to compensate the distribution of loss in light quantity with respect to an imaging lens due to the so-called Cos.sup.4 law in the scanning direction and includes fixed sources of light. The scanning illuminator is characterized by illuminating systems disposed symmetrically relative to an original supporting area, each illuminating system being adapted for illuminating the opposite end areas of an original by a portion of light beam from the fixed source of light adjacent one end of the original, especially the light beam portion emitted and bled backward of the light source, the illuminating system having at least one rotating or translating scan mirror for scanning the illuminating light beam.

This invention presents a film reader equipped with a reflecting type screen, which is arranged in a housing of the reader and has a number of ring strip surfaces having different inclination angles and arranged concentrically. The common center of the ring strip surfaces is deviated from the center of the screen and locates outside of the screen and the end of the screen nearest to the common center is placed near to an observing aperture in the housing. A light source for illuminating a microfilm having recorded images and an optical system for projecting the image of the illuminated film to the screen are provided. Further, the screen is formed by one synthetic resin or preferably at least two kinds of synthetic resins having different refractive indices and mutually non-soluble property. A reflecting substance may be mixed with said resins.
