An optical diffusion structure includes an optical diffusion structure comprising a plurality of convex portions and a plurality of concave portions. Each convex portion is adjacent to a plurality of concave portions and each concave portion is adjacent to a plurality of convex portions. The convex portions, the concave portions and each junction of the convex and concave portions have a curvature different from 0. The optical diffusion structure further includes a diffusion plate having a first surface, wherein the optical diffusion structure is formed on the first surface, and the convex portions are arranged in a two dimensional array along a first direction and a second direction, and the concave portions are arranged in a two dimensional array along a third direction and a fourth direction.

Method of forming an optical diffusion module

An Illuminant module includes an optical film and a light source array. The optical array includes a plurality of concave surfaces and a plurality of convex surfaces alternatively arranged along at least one direction, wherein each concave surface has a concave surface width along the at least one direction, and each convex surface has a convex surface width along the at least one direction. The light source array includes a plurality of light emitting diodes, wherein the concave surface width is not equal to the convex surface width, and the light from the light source array penetrates the optical film.

Illuminant module with optical film of multiple curvatures

An optical diffusion module comprises a first diffusion structure comprising a plurality of convex portions and a plurality of concave portions arranged alternatingly, and a second diffusion structure comprising a plurality of convex portions and a plurality of concave portions arranged alternatingly. Light from a light source passes through the first diffusion structure and the second diffusion structure sequentially, and each convex portion is adjacent to a plurality of concave portions and each concave portion is adjacent to a plurality of convex portions, and the convex portions, the concave portions and each junction of the convex and concave portions have a curvature different from 0.

Optical diffusion module

A light guiding film is provided including a main body, and a light diffusion structure comprising a plurality of micro concave lenses arranged in a first direction and a second direction to form a second dimensional array and the curvature of each concave lens and the junction of the concave lenses are different from zero. Light from a light source passes through the light diffusion structure and is refracted into the main body and then propagates in the main body by total reflection.

A composite light guiding film module is disclosed, which includes: a light guiding film; a light diffusion structure comprising a plurality of micro concave lenses arranged in a first direction and a second direction to form a second dimensional array and the curvature of each concave lens and the junction of the concave lenses are not equal to zero; and a refraction element comprising at least one refraction structure, wherein light from a light source passes through the refraction element and is refracted to the light diffusion structure, and the light passing through the light diffusion structure is refracted into the light guiding film and then propagates in the light guiding film by total reflection.

A composite lens structure is disclosed. The composite lens structure includes a diffusion plate and an optical structure formed on the diffusion plate. The optical structure includes a plurality of convex portions arranged in a 2-D matrix along a first direction and a second direction and a plurality of concave portions arranged in a 2-D matrix also along the first direction and the second direction. Each convex portion adjacent to a plurality of concave portions includes a low curvature portion and a high curvature portion higher than the low curvature portion. Each concave portion adjacent to a plurality of convex portions includes a low curvature portion and a high curvature portion lower than the low curvature portion. The convex portions, the concave portions and each junction of the convex portion and the concave portion have a curvature different from 0.
