An electronic apparatus includes a motion sensor, an image capturing unit, a display unit and a processing unit. A controlling method for the electronic apparatus includes following steps. An initial orientation of the electronic apparatus is obtained by the motion sensor when a first image is captured by the electronic apparatus. A predetermined rotation angle relative to the initial orientation is assigned. A rotation prompt indicating the predetermined rotation angle is displayed via the display unit.

An image segmentation method includes displaying, through a display component, an image; receiving, through a user input component, a user command relative to an original designation region of the image; shrinking the original designation region according to first depth information corresponding to the image to generate a shrunk designation region of the image; generating a plurality of seeds according to the shrunk designation region and the user command; and segmenting the image according to the seeds to obtain at least one segmented region.

A controlling method suitable for an electronic apparatus is disclosed herein. The electronic apparatus includes a first image-capturing unit and a second image-capturing unit. The controlling method includes steps of: obtaining a plurality of second images by the second image-capturing unit when the first image-capturing unit is operated to capture a plurality of first images for a stereo process; detecting an object in the second images; calculating a relative displacement of the object in the second images; and, determining whether the first images are captured by an inappropriate gesture according to the relative displacement calculated from the second images.
