An arithmetic processing system processes a sensing signal and a first approximate offset signal to obtain a second approximate offset signal. The system includes a first arithmetic processor and a second arithmetic processor. The first arithmetic processor receives and processes the sensing signal and the first approximate offset signal to output a first arithmetic signal. The second arithmetic processor processes the first arithmetic signal to output a second arithmetic signal, and the second arithmetic signal is added with a predetermined offset signal to obtain the second approximate offset signal, and the second approximate offset signal is closer to a real offset signal of the sensing signal than the first approximate offset signal. A method of arithmetic processing is also disclosed.

Arithmetic processing system and method thereof

A method of offset compensation for solid-state imaging devices is provided. In the method a first and second detection signal are obtained. The two signals are compared to obtain a difference value. A variable voltage is output according to the difference value to drive a magnetic element. The solid-state imaging device is moved by the magnetic element to compensate the offset of the solid-state imaging device. A system of offset compensation of the solid-state imaging device is also disclosed.

Signal compensation systems and methods. The system comprises a sensor and a processing module. The sensor detects movements of a camera device to generate sensed signals. The processing module acquires a relative maximum value and a relative minimum value of the sensed signals, and calculates an absolute difference accordingly. The absolute difference is the absolute value of the relative maximum value added the relative minimum value. The processing module determines whether the absolute difference exceeds a predetermined value. If so, the sensed signals are identified with a drift, and compensated according to the absolute difference.

An image capture control method and apparatus thereof is provided. The method includes capturing automatic exposure environmental data by an image capture unit, calculating initial shutter exposure period and initial sensitivity in accordance with the environmental data, and determining in accordance with the specific mode. Under the specific mode, capturing the image based on the initial shutter exposure period and initial sensitivity when the initial shutter exposure period is less than or equal to the predetermined period. Modify parameters for image capture to obtain final shutter exposure period and final sensitivity when the initial shutter exposure period exceeds the predetermined period. Capturing the image with the final shutter exposure period (t') and processing the captured image with the final sensitivity (ISO&#x2032;).

Image capture control method and apparatus thereof

Image pickup systems capable of preventing blurred images are provided, in which a first sensor detects a variation in inclination of an image pickup device to generate a first sensing data, a second sensor detects a position movement from an image sensor in the image pickup device to generate a second sensing data and a driving unit is coupled to the image sensor. A processing module receives the first and second sensing data, integrates the first sensing data, calculates the integrated first sensing data and the second sensing data to obtain control information, and enables the driving unit to adjust the position of the image sensor according to the control information.

Camera systems and methods with vibration compensation. The system comprises a first sensor, a second sensor, and a processing module. The first sensor detects an angle variation of a movement of a camera device to generate first sensed data. The second sensor detects a position movement of an image sensor of the camera device to generate second sensed data. The processing module takes the first derivative of the second sensed data, and calculates control information according to the first sensed data and the differential of the second sensed data. The processing module enables a drive device to adjust the position of the image sensor based on the control information.

Camera systems with vibration compensation and methods thereof

An autofocusing method is implemented in an image capture device comprising a lens and a sensor module. The relative positions of lens and the sensor module are adjusted for autofocusing based on a factor. First, the relative positions of the lens and the sensor module are adjusted based on a first unit of the factor to determine a plurality of states of the lens and the sensor module, where the lens renders clearer images on the sensor module. The states are utilized to estimate a best state achievable by focusing based on a second unit of the factor, where the lens renders a clearest image on the sensor module. The second unit is finer than the first unit. The lens or the sensor module is driven to the best state.

Automatic focusing methods and image capture devices utilizing the same

A fiber container receiving optical fibers has a body, a space defined in the body, a reel disposed inside the body, wherein a groove is defined around the periphery of the reel. The optical fibers are twisted around the reel and received in the groove. Furthermore, the fiber container is able to apply to the active/passive optical communication device, such as an erbium doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) or a dense wavelength division multiplexer (DWDM).

A method of fabricating a WDM unit consists of attaching a first and a second GRIN lenses to opposite faces of a WDM filter. A dual fiber pigtail and a single fiber pigtail are mounted in corresponding glass tubes. The glass tube with the dual fiber pigtail and the glass tube with the single fiber pigtail are mounted on the second GRIN lens and the first GRIN lens respectively. The position of the dual fiber pigtail and the single fiber pigtail are adjusted with respect to the second GRIN lens and the first GRIN lens respectively to obtain the best optical property. The invention prevents the WDM filter from tilting during temperature variation by sandwiching the WDM filter in between the two GRIN lenses, and further prevents the WDM unit from increasing the reflection loss and insertion loss.
