A communication device includes a smart antenna, a storage device, and a processor. The smart antenna is capable of switching between a plurality of antenna modes. In each of the antenna modes during a training stage, the smart antenna receives a first feedback datum, and the processor calculates a reward indicator according to the first feedback datum. The processor compares all of the reward indicators with each other and controls the smart antenna to select a specific mode of the antenna modes according to a comparison between all of the reward indicators. In the specific mode, the smart antenna receives a second feedback datum, the processor determines the weight function of the first feedback datum and the second feedback datum of the specific mode, and the processor updates the reward indicator of the specific mode according to the weight function.

Communication device and antenna selection method

An antenna system includes a ground element, a switch element, a first antenna, and a second antenna. The switch element is selectively closed or opened according to a control signal. The first antenna has a first feeding terminal. The first feeding terminal of the first antenna is coupled to a first signal source. The second antenna has a second feeding terminal and a grounding terminal. The second feeding terminal of the second antenna is coupled through the switch element to a second signal source. The grounding terminal of the second antenna is coupled to the ground element.

Antenna system

An antenna system includes a first transmission line, a second transmission line, a third transmission line, a fourth transmission line, a first dipole antenna, a second dipole antenna, a third dipole antenna, a fourth dipole antenna, a fifth dipole antenna, a sixth dipole antenna, a seventh dipole antenna, and an eighth dipole antenna. Each dipole antenna is coupled through a corresponding transmission line to a feeding point. Each of the fifth dipole antenna, the sixth dipole antenna, the seventh dipole antenna, and the eighth dipole antenna is positioned between the feeding point and a corresponding one of the first dipole antenna, the second dipole antenna, the third dipole antenna, and the fourth dipole antenna. Each of the partial dipole antennas includes a positive radiation branch and a negative radiation branch. The angle between the positive radiation branch and the negative radiation branch is less than 100 degrees.

Antenna system and wireless access point

An antenna system includes a signal source, a plurality of switch elements, a plurality of transmission lines, a plurality of antenna elements, and a plurality of reflectors. The signal source is coupled to a feeding point. The switch elements are selectively closed or opened individually. Each of the antenna elements is coupled through one of the switch elements and one of the transmission lines to the feeding point. Each of the reflectors is configured to reflect an electromagnetic wave from one of the antenna elements.

An antenna system is disclosed. The antenna system includes a first antenna array coupled to a first radio card, the first antenna array having a plurality of horizontal antennas operating at a first frequency band. A second antenna array is coupled to a second radio card. The second antenna array includes a plurality of dual-band antennas operating at the first frequency band and a second frequency band. The first antenna array and the second antenna array are arranged on a substrate such that a first antenna pattern formed by the first antenna array and a second antenna pattern formed by the second antenna array are mutually orthogonal.

The present invention discloses a dual-band antenna. The dual-band antenna includes a first radiating element and a second radiating element. The first radiating element is parallel to a first plane, operates at a first frequency band, and has a first edge and a second edge. The first edge and the second edge are connected through a central portion. The second radiating element is parallel to a second plane, adjacent to the first edge, the second edge and a first side of the central portion, and operates at a second frequency band, where the first plane is perpendicular to the second plane.

An antenna system includes a first dipole antenna element and a second dipole antenna element. The first dipole antenna element includes a first feeding radiation element and a first grounding radiation element. The first feeding radiation element has an extension portion. The first grounding radiation element has an open slot. The extension portion extends into the interior of the open slot. The second dipole antenna element includes a second feeding radiation element and a second grounding radiation element. The first dipole antenna element and the second dipole antenna element are both excited by a signal source. The first dipole antenna element operates in a low-frequency band. The second dipole antenna element operates in a high-frequency band.

An antenna structure includes a dipole antenna element, a meandering connection line, and a cascade radiation element. The dipole antenna element includes a feeding radiation element and a grounding radiation element. The feeding radiation element has at least one open slot. The cascade radiation element is coupled through the meandering connection line to the feeding radiation element.

An antenna includes a feed segment for transmitting a radio-frequency signal, a first radiator electrically connected to the feeding segment and formed on a first surface of a substrate, and a second radiator electrically connected to the feeding segment and formed on a second surface of the substrate, wherein the first radiator includes a first arm electrically connected to the feeding segment, a first branch and a second branch, and a second arm electrically connected to the feeding segment, a third branch and a fourth ranch, and the second radiator includes a third arm electrically connected to the feeding segment, a fifth branch and a sixth branch, and a fourth arm electrically connected to the feeding segment, a seventh branch and an eighth branch.
