A touch panel is provided. The touch panel includes a plurality of pixels, wherein each pixel includes M*N sub-pixels, at least m sub-pixels each include at least one photo sensitive area and at least one effective display area, the other n sub-pixels each include only at least one effective display area, M&#x2267;2, N&#x2267;1, m&#x2266;M, m+n=M and m&#x2267;0. A first color filter film is disposed over a photo sensor of the photo sensitive area and a second color filter film is disposed over the effective display area, wherein the color of the first and second color filter films are the same at the same sub-pixel. The photo sensors at the same column of the sub-pixels are electrically connected by a signal readout line, wherein only one signal readout line is disposed at every M column of the sub-pixels.

Touch panel

A liquid crystal display with sensing mechanism includes a data line, a sensing unit, a pixel unit, a first gate line, a second gate line, a source driver, a readout signal processing unit and a switch unit. The data line is used to deliver a data signal or a readout signal. The sensing unit is employed to generate the readout signal. The pixel unit functions to control pixel brightness according to the data signal. The first gate line delivers a first gate signal for controlling the sensing unit. The second gate line delivers a second gate signal for controlling the pixel unit. The source driver is utilized for providing the data signal. The readout signal processing unit performs a sensing position analysis on the readout signal received. The switch unit is put in use for connecting the data line with either the source driver or the readout signal processing unit.

Liquid crystal display having a sensing unit and pixel unit sharing the same data line

A touch panel is provided. The touch panel includes a plurality of pixels, wherein each pixel includes M*N sub-pixels, at least m sub-pixels each include at least one photo sensitive area and at least one effective display area, the other n sub-pixels each include only at least one effective display area, and M&#x2267;2, N&#x2267;1, m&#x2266;M, m+n=M and m&#x2267;0. A first color filter film is disposed over a photo sensor of the photo sensitive area and a second color filter film is disposed over the effective display area, wherein the color of the first and the second color filter films are different at the at least m sub-pixels. The photo sensors at the same column are electrically connected by a signal readout line, wherein only one signal readout line is disposed at every M column of the sub-pixels.

A DIP switch having a metal cover with risers extended from sides adjacent to DIP switch urging against a housing of circuit board when DIP switch is seated on circuit board such that DIP switch is enclosed by metal cover, housing, and circuit board with only an opening provided on housing for setting selectors, and a portion of circuit board under DIP switch is obstructed from outside, thereby preventing an EMI generated by other devices on circuit board from interfering with DIP switch, as well as preventing an EMI generated by the portion of circuit board under DIP switch from emitting out of the opening.
