A connector assembly includes a first electronic component, an electrical connector and a shielding shell fixed to the first electronic component, a second electronic component located above the first electronic component, and a mating member fixed to the second electronic component. The electrical connector includes an insulating body, and a first terminal electrically connected to the first electronic component. The mating member includes a second terminal electrically connected to the second electronic component. The shielding shell has a first grounding portion and a second grounding portion, and covers outside the first terminal. The first grounding portion is electrically connected to the first electronic component. When the mating member is downward mated with the electrical connector, the second terminal is inserted into the shielding shell to be mated with the first terminal, and the second grounding portion abuts the second electronic component to be electrically connected to the second electronic component.

Connector assembly

An electrical component includes an insulating base, an insulating layer provided outside the insulating base, a shielding member provided between the insulating base and the insulating layer, and multiple conductive bodies accommodated in the insulating base. The conductive bodies include at least one power supply body. Each of the at least one power supply body is provided with a shielding layer outside the power supply body and an insulator between the power supply body and the shielding layer. The shielding layer is accommodated in the shielding member. In the electrical component, by providing a shielding layer and an insulator provided between the power supply body and the shielding layer outside the power supply body, shielding of the shielding layer from the power supply body is implemented, so as to reduce an interference of the power supply body on a signal body, thereby improving transmission quality of high-frequency signals.

A method for manufacturing an electrical connector, including: S1: providing a bearing tray, where the bearing tray is concavely provided with multiple holding slots at intervals; S2: providing multiple solders correspondingly placed in the multiple holding slots; S3: heating the bearing tray, so as to soften the solders; S4: providing an insulating body and multiple terminals disposed at the insulating body, where each of the terminals has a soldering portion exposed from the insulating body, and moving the insulating body and the terminals entirely to the bearing tray, so that the soldering portion of each of the terminals is correspondingly inserted into a corresponding one of the softened solders; and S5: sticking the solder to the soldering portion, moving the insulating body away from above the bearing tray, and separating the solders from the bearing tray. The electrical connector has good electrical connection performance.

Method for manufacturing electrical connector

An electrical connector for electrically connecting to a chip module. The chip module includes a base plate and a protruding portion projecting upward from the base plate. The electrical connector includes a socket for bearing the chip module, a fixing plate located above the base plate, and a load plate covering the chip module and the fixing plate. The load plate is provided with a first urging portion directly pressing the protruding portion downward, and a second urging portion pressing against the fixing plate downward, so that the fixing plate presses the base plate downward, thereby pressing the chip module downward and electrically connecting the chip module to the socket.

An electrical connector includes an insulating body with a main body portion in which a first receiving space is concavely formed. Spaced first terminal passages extend in a top surface of the first receiving space. A second receiving space is formed in the front end of the main body portion and connected with the first receiving space. A tongue plate extends forwards from a front end face of the main body portion and has a working surface in which spaced second terminal passages extend. The second receiving space is located above the tongue plate. First and second conductive terminals are respectively correspondingly received in the first and the second terminal passages. When a memory card is inserted into the connector, there is no other in-series disturbed signal noise for stable signal transmission; and when the memory card is inserted to its position, it cannot swing and can be connected stably.
