A front light module includes a reflective display device, a front light guide, and a light emitting unit plate. The front light guide plate includes a micro-structure. The micro-structure has a first angle between a surface thereof close to the light emitting unit and an upper surface of the front light guide plate. The micro-structure has a second angle between a surface thereof away from the light emitting unit and the upper surface of the front light guide plate. The micro-structure has a third angle between the surface thereof close to the light emitting unit and the surface thereof away from the light emitting unit. The first angle is within a range between 30 degrees and 60 degrees, the second angle is within a range between 30 degrees and 59 degrees, and the third angle is greater than 90 degrees.

Front light module and front light guide plate of high-contrast structure

A backlight module includes a first and a second light guide plate; a turning film; a first, a second, and a third light source module. The first light guide plate has a first light entrance surface, a first light-emitting surface, a first bottom surface, and a light guide structure formed on the first bottom surface. The second light guide plate is disposed above the first light-emitting surface and has a second light-emitting surface, a second bottom surface, a second light entrance surface, a third light entrance surface, and optical microstructures, wherein the second and the third light entrance surface are located on two opposite sides of the second light guide plate. The turning film is disposed between the two light guide plates. The first, the second, and the third light source module are disposed aside the first, the second, and the third light entrance surface, respectively.

Backlight module and display device thereof

A front light module applied to full lamination includes a display, a front light guide plate, a light-emitting unit, a transparent medium, and a cover layer. The front light guide plate is located over the display and includes a micro-structure. The micro-structure is recessed from an upper surface of the front light guide plate. The light-emitting unit is adjacent to the front light guide plate. The transparent medium is located over the front light guide plate. A space is located between the front light guide plate and the transparent medium. The cover layer is located over the transparent medium.

Front light module and multi-layer structure applied to full lamination

A display device includes a light source and a front light plate. The light source is configured to emit light. The front light plate faces toward the light source. The front light plate is configured to receive the light. The front light plate includes a first microstructure and a second microstructure. The first microstructure is located on a first surface of the front light plate. The first microstructure has a first width. A conic constant of the first microstructure is in a range from &#x2212;0.95 to 10. The second microstructure is adjacent to the first microstructure. The second microstructure has a second width. The first width of the first microstructure is greater than the second width of the second microstructure.

Display device

A backlight module includes a base plate, a plurality of light-emitting elements and a plurality of lenses. The light-emitting elements are disposed on the base plate. The lenses are disposed on the base plate and respectively correspond to the light-emitting elements. Each of the lenses has a side surface and a plurality of diffusing portions. The diffusing portions are located on the side surface. At least one of the diffusing portions of each of the lenses is located between adjacent two of the corresponding lenses.

Backlight module

The present invention discloses a light source device applied to a display module. The light source device produces an emission light field which forms a light field shape when projected in a normal direction onto a planar surface substantially parallel to a placement plane of the light source device. The light field shape includes a light field center, more than three intense light regions, and more than three dim light regions. The intense light regions and the dim light regions are alternately disposed, and radially arranged around the light field center. A light brightness at a predetermined distance from the light field center in the dim light region is less than 90% of a light brightness at the predetermined distance from the light field center in the intense light region.

Light source device and display device using the same

A light source device includes a lens and a light source. The lens has a light-emitting top surface, and the light source is for generating light and is disposed below the lens. Light from the light source is refracted by the lens to cause a light distribution to be produced when projected onto a planar surface parallel to the light-emitting top surface. A light source system includes a plurality of the light source devices disposed in a matrix arrangement. Through the light distribution produced by the lens of the light source devices and the light source system, high contrast effects may be generated and subsequently replace conventional light distributions.

Light source device and light source system thereof

A light source device includes a lens and a light source disposed under the lens. The lens has a light-emitting top surface and a bottom surface opposite to the light-emitting top surface. The bottom surface concaves towards the light-emitting top surface to form a hole and has a gouge surrounding the hole with an inclination towards the edge of the hole. The hole is formed from the surrounding of a first inner wall surface and a second inner wall surface. The light source is disposed below the bottom surface and corresponds to the hole.

Light source device

A light source device and a light source system using the same are provided. The light source device includes a lens and a light source disposed under the lens. The lens has a light-emitting top surface and a bottom surface having a hole that is surrounded by an inner wall surface and an inner top surface. The inner top surface and a projection area of thereof onto the light-emitting top surface are flat surfaces. The light source has an illumination area, wherein an opening of the hole covers a projection area of the illumination area onto the bottom surface. The light source system includes a plurality of the light source device disposed in a honeycomb arrangement, wherein the light source devices are spaced apart from each other.
