A sound production device includes memories, processors, a rotation speed correlation value acquisition device configured to acquire a rotation speed correlation value of a rotating body, and a speaker. A noise order sound has a characteristic in which a sound pressure of the noise order sound reaches a maximum sound pressure in a first range of the rotation speed correlation value, and the sound pressure becomes smaller than the maximum sound pressure in second ranges adjacent to both sides the first range. When the rotation speed correlation value falls within the first range, the processors do not output a dummy noise. When the rotation speed correlation value falls within either of the second ranges, the processors output the dummy noise.

Sound production device, sound-production-device equipped vehicle, and sound production method

A soundproofing device for a transmission according to the present disclosure is provided to transmit the power of one or more prime movers (for example, internal combustion engine and electric motor). The soundproofing device includes a Helmholtz resonator including: a wall that forms a Helmholtz resonance chamber; and an opening formed in the wall so as to cause the Helmholtz resonance chamber to communicate with the outside of the Helmholtz resonance chamber. The wall includes a transmission case that accommodates the transmission and a housing of a component mounted on the transmission (for example, PCU housing). The Helmholtz resonance chamber is formed between the transmission case and the housing.

Soundproofing device for transmission

A torque converter includes a housing, and a fluid-operated power transmitting portion and a vibration damping device which are accommodated within the housing and which are disposed around an axis such that the vibration damping device is located adjacent to the fluid-operated power transmitting portion in a direction of the axis, the torque converter further includes a space occupying member which occupies a part of a space formed within the housing and between the fluid-operated power transmitting portion and the vibration damping device. The space occupying member comprises a wall surface facing the fluid-operated power transmitting portion in the direction of the axis. A distance in the direction of the axis between a part of the wall surface and the fluid-operated power transmitting portion is smaller than a distance in the direction of the axis between the part of the wall surface and the vibration damping device.

Torque converter

A torsional vibration damper in which vibration damping performance is ensured by preventing a contact between a rolling mass and a rotary member. A rolling mass includes a trunk penetrating through a bore. A first corner formed in an axial end of the trunk is rounded. A rotary member includes a second corner formed in the bore. an axial length of the first corner of the rolling mass is longer than an axial length of the second corner of the rotary member.

Torsional vibration damper

A vehicle control apparatus includes an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to perform feedback control of a motor such that a torque is output for stopping a crankshaft at a target angle. A first angle is used as the target angle during a first period from start of the feedback control to first detection of rotation of the crankshaft in a negative rotational direction for returning the crank angle. A second angle is used as the target angle during a second period from the lapse of the first period to detection of a changeover in a rotational direction of the crankshaft from the negative to a positive rotational direction. The electronic control unit is configured to return the target angle to the first angle at a first timing after the lapse of the second period.

Vehicle control apparatus and vehicle control method

A vibration damping device that can prevent interference between a rolling mass and a cover resulting from deformation of the cover caused by pressure rise, and that can suppress noises is provided. The torsional vibration damping device comprises: a rotary member that is arranged in a torque converter; a rolling mass that is oscillated relatively to the rotary member by torque pulse; a bore that is formed on an outer circumferential portion of the rotary member in such a manner as to penetrates through the rotary member in a direction parallel to a rotational center axis; a cover that covers the rolling mass and the bore liquid-tightly to protect from oil in the torque converter; and a deformation-preventing member that prevents a deformation of the cover in a direction toward the rolling mass.

Torsional vibration damping device

A torsional vibration reduction device that is provided inside of a fluid power transmitting device that has a driving side member that generates a fluid flow, and a driven side member that is driven by the fluid flow, includes a rolling element configured to move in a reciprocating manner according to a variation in torque; a retaining member that has a rolling chamber configured to house the rolling element in a manner that enables the rolling element to move in a reciprocating manner; and a housing configured to shield the rolling element and the rolling chamber from fluid inside of the fluid power transmitting device. The retaining member is enclosed and fixed inside the housing, and the housing is fixed to the driven side member.

Torsional vibration reduction device

A control device for a hybrid vehicle is, in the process of stopping an internal combustion engine of the vehicle, capable of making twist angle fluctuation reduction control and crank angle position control mutually compatible. When a request for stopping the internal combustion engine has been issued, twist angle fluctuation reduction control is implemented without implementing crank angle position control, until, in the process of bringing the engine to a stopped state, the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine drops below the resonant rotational speed region of the torsional damper; and, after the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine has dropped below the resonant rotational speed region of the torsional damper in the process of bringing the engine to a stopped state, crank angle position control is implemented without implementing twist angle fluctuation reduction control, until stopping of the internal combustion engine has been completed.

Control device for hybrid vehicle

A torsional vibration reducing apparatus is provided. The torsional vibration reducing apparatus includes a rotating body having a rolling chamber, and a rolling body including a support shaft portion, a first flange portion, a second flange portion, a first corner portion, and a second corner portion. The support shaft portion is housed in the rolling chamber. The flange portions are located respectively at either end of the support shaft portion in an axial direction. A position defined by the support shaft portion and the first flange portion is the first corner portion, and a position defined by the support shaft portion and the second flange portion is the second corner portion. In a section of the rolling body that is along a central axis of the support shaft portion, sectional shapes of the first corner portion and the second corner portion differ from each other.

Torsional vibration reducing apparatus

An object is to provide a fluid coupling capable of effectively utilizing an internal space of a cover member and of sufficiently exerting a performance of a device damping torsional vibration. In a fluid coupling including a cover member accommodating a fluid, a pump impeller, a turbine runner, a lockup clutch operated by a fluid pressure and selectively connecting the cover member and an output shaft, a damper mechanism having an elastic member, and a pendulum damper having a rotary member rotating integrally with the output shaft and an inertial mass capable of relative rotation with respect to the output shaft, the turbine runner, the damper mechanism, the lockup clutch, and the pendulum damper are arranged in this order in an axial direction of the output shaft inside the cover member.

Fluid coupling

A torsional vibration reducing device includes a rotating body, and a connection member. The rotating body has a plurality of guide holes. The rotating body includes a plurality of rolling bodies that are accommodated in the plurality of guide holes, respectively. The connection member connects the plurality of rolling bodies such that the plurality of rolling bodies moves integrally in the rotating direction of the rotating body. The connection member is supported so as to be reciprocally swingable in the rotating direction. A first moment that results from a weight of any one of the plurality of rolling bodies and rotates the connection member in a first rotating direction, a second moment that results from a weight of the other of the plurality of rolling bodies and rotates the connection member in a second rotating direction being applied to the connection member.

Torsional vibration reducing device

A torsional vibration reducing device is provided. The torsional vibration reducing device includes a rotating body, a plurality of rolling bodies, and a connection member. The connection member connects the plurality of rolling bodies, and at least two contact portions are positioned on an inner surface of each of the plurality of accommodating portions, a portion of an outer peripheral surface of each of the plurality of rolling bodies being positioned in each of the plurality of accommodating portions, and the outer peripheral surface of each of the plurality of rolling bodies being configured to come into point contact with the contact portions in the circumferential direction of the rotating body.

A torsional vibration reducing device includes a rotating body, rolling bodies, and a connection member. The rotating body includes guide holes, and the connection member includes accommodating portions that has at least two contact portions. The accommodating portions are positioned in the guide holes, and the guide holes accommodate the rolling bodies. The accommodating portions are configured to hold the outer peripheral surface of each of the rolling bodies with the contact portions, in a direction in which the rolling body reciprocates.

A torque converter in which a torsional vibration damping device is fastened firmly to a turbine hub in such a manner that a hermeticity test can be carried out easily. In the torque converter, a turbine runner is fixed to the turbine hub through a first rivet. The torsional vibration damping device is assembled as a unit independent from the turbine hub and a rolling mass is held in a casing liquid-tightly. The torsional vibration damping device and the driven member are fixed to the turbine hub through a second rivet.

A controller is configured to obtain a speed ratio equivalent value that is determined by a speed ratio set in a transmission unit, and is configured to control an engine by setting an operating point of the engine such that the operating point in the case where a lockup clutch is engaged and the speed ratio equivalent value is large is lower in an output rotation speed for a predetermined output torque than the operating point in the case where the lockup clutch is engaged and the speed ratio equivalent value is smaller than the large speed ratio equivalent value.
