A universal infrared receiving apparatus is provided. The universal infrared receiving apparatus includes a slicer, a non-volatile memory, a volatile memory and a comparison apparatus. The slicer slices a remote control command waveform into digital waveform data. The non-volatile memory pre-stores target waveform data. The volatile memory stores the digital waveform data and the target waveform data. The comparison apparatus, coupled to the volatile memory, compares the digital waveform data and the target waveform data to generate a comparison result.

Universal infrared receiving apparatus and associated method

A decoding method and apparatus capable of automatically adjusting a sampling period is provided. The decoding apparatus decodes a serial code including at least one header pulse and a plurality of data pulses. The decoding apparatus includes a detecting unit for detecting the header pulse to generate an initialization signal, a determining unit for determining a sampling period according to the initialization signal and a pulse width of one of the data pulses, and a decoding unit for decoding the data pulses according to the sampling period.

Decoding method and apparatus for infrared remote control commands

An apparatus for producing hydrogen includes at least one reforming chamber containing a reforming catalyst bed for reforming a carbonaceous fuel into hydrogen, at least one hydrogen-permeable membrane tube disposed inside the reforming chamber to be surrounded by the reforming catalyst bed and to confine therein a hydrogen compartment, and at least one oxidation chamber provided adjacent to the reforming catalyst bed for burning the gas not permeable to the membrane tube and for supplying heat to the reforming chamber. The oxidation chamber has an oxidation catalyst bed. A process for producing hydrogen via the apparatus is also disclosed.
