A wireless communication device includes a first wireless transceiving interface, a second wireless transceiving interface and a resource allocation controller. The first wireless transceiving interface is adapted to a first network architecture. The second wireless transceiving interface is adapted to a second network architecture, wherein a connection scheme of the first network architecture is more reliable than that of the second network architecture. The resource allocation controller transceives data related to the second wireless transceiving interface selectively through the first wireless transceiving interface or the second wireless transceiving interface according to a connection status information associated with the second wireless transceiving interface.

Wireless communication device and operating method using the same

A method for determining switching of the sleep mode for a device is provided. The device and a base station have several connections therebetween. In the determining method, one of the connections is first provided and it is determined whether the connection is realtime or non-realtime. It is then determined whether or not the realtime and non-realtime connections satisfy the condition for entering the sleep mode according to a first condition and a second condition, respectively. If the connection does not satisfy the condition for entering the sleep mode, the device enters the normal mode. If the connection satisfies the condition for entering the sleep mode, then the foregoing steps are repeated till the connections have all been checked. If all of the connections satisfy the condition for entering the sleep mode, the device enters the sleep mode.

A method for power savings in a wireless communications network including selecting one or more connections with common performance characteristics to create a plurality of power savings classes, attributing a power savings window size to each power savings class, and aligning power savings classes with the same start time to generate an aligned power savings class. The present invention comprises a data processor capable of communicating with at least another data processor among a plurality of networked processors and the data processor comprises a communication state means for receiving and sending a plurality of messages relating to performing the communication with the networked data processor(s). The communication state means includes a table-look-up means and a nested-selection means wherein each of the means is capable of receiving and utilizing the messages for identifying a processor communication state of the data processor. The table-look-up means and the nested-selection means of the communication state means are optimized to perform the process of identifying the processor communication state in a logic sequence for minimizing the time required in performing the identifying process whereby the communication among the networked data processors may be more efficiently performed.
