A precharge controller includes a main contactor, a capacitor, a precharge contactor, a current sensor, and a control unit. When starting a power supply from a battery to load, the control unit starts precharging by closing the precharge contactor when a detected current is equal to a preset value or lower, determines completion of precharging when the detected current once equal to or exceeded a first threshold value falls to a second threshold value or lower, and closes the main contactor.

Precharge controller

A monitoring apparatus used in a vehicle is provided to communicate with an electronic control apparatus that controls a driving force of the vehicle by executing any one of a plurality of predetermined different controls. The monitoring apparatus receives a vehicle specification from the electronic control apparatus, and determines whether the received vehicle specification is appropriate, to provide a determination result. The monitoring apparatus further sets whether at least one of the predetermined different controls is permitted or not permitted to be executed by the electronic control apparatus in response to the determination result.

Monitoring apparatus and driving force control system

A start support apparatus to be disposed in an electromotive vehicle includes a requested driving force calculation portion, the startable driving force calculation portion, and an indication portion. The requested driving force calculation portion calculates a requested driving force that is generated at a motor based on operation by a driver of the electromotive vehicle. The startable driving force calculation portion calculates a startable driving force that is required to be generated at the motor for starting the electromotive vehicle. The indication portion shows a degree of gap between the requested driving force and the startable driving force.
