The present disclosure relates to a recombinant protein comprising a plurality of type II cohesin repeats. The present disclosure provides a recombinant cellulosome complex comprising: the recombinant protein comprising a plurality of type II cohesin repeats; a recombinant cellulosome complex integrating protein A comprising a plurality of type I cohesin repeats, a plurality of cellulose-binding modules and a type II dockerin; and a plurality of recombinant enzymes each comprising a type I dockerin. A cell, a method for digesting a cellulose and a method for producing ethanol are also provided.

Disclosed herein are recombinant polynucleotide sequences, vectors, host cells and methods for producing astaxanthin. The recombinant polynucleotide sequence is designed to provide a higher level of astaxanthin precursors via a shorter metabolic pathway, and thereby attains higher level of end products (e.g., astaxanthin) with desired stereoisomeric form and/or esterified form.

A dyeing method includes immersing a fiber into a dye for dyeing the fiber, in which the dye includes indigo and indirubin, and the indigo and the indirubin have a weight ratio of 20:1 to 80:1. The indigo in the dye has a concentration of 0.1% o.w.f. to 5% o.w.f. The dyed fiber may simultaneously have high luminance, high color saturation, high strength of colorization, and sufficient colorfastness.

The disclosure provides a dyeing method using bio-dye. A first compound containing an X group is reacted with a second compound containing a Y group to form a third compound, in which the X group is selected from the group consisting of an isocyanate group, a carbodiimide group, an aziridinyl group and an epoxy group, the Y group is selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyl group and an amine group, and the second compound is an amine compound and contains two or more Y groups. Cationization of the third compound is carried out with a fourth compound containing a carboxyl group to form a cationic modification agent. A cationic modification treatment is performed on a fiber material by using the cationic modification agent to form a cationized fiber material. Thereafter, a dyeing treatment is performed on the cationized fiber material through a dye solution containing bio-dye to color the cationized fiber material.

An insulation detection circuit suitable for detecting an insulation status between a high voltage power and a low voltage power of a vehicle is disclosed. The circuit includes a first energy storage unit, a second energy storage unit, a constant current unit, and a detection unit. The first energy storage unit is coupled to the high voltage power. The second energy storage unit is coupled between the first energy storage unit and the low voltage power. The constant current unit is coupled between the first energy storage unit and the second energy storage unit. The detection unit is coupled to the second energy storage unit for detecting a current change of the second energy storage unit. When the detection unit detects that current flowing through the second energy storage unit is smaller than a predetermined value, a detection signal representing that the insulation status is abnormal is outputted.

A switch controller using a congestion control method can relieve congestion in a network. The Ethernet switch controller has the capacity to select a suitable congestion control mode according to each connection port and state of the connected device. If a flow control mode is selected, the switch controller issues a flow control frame and waits for the passing of a guard period roughly equivalent to a period of about inputting three packets. If the connected device continues to transmit network packets after the guard period, the switch controller switches from the flow control mode to a drop control mode. Hence, the received packets are discarded and congestion is prevented. Consequently, the switch controller of this invention can still carry out congestion control operation when the switch controller is connected to a device having no standard flow control capability.

A output queuing method for forwarding the packets sequentially in a switching network. Each port is related to a port output queue and a global output queue is shared by all port output queues. A FIFO (First In First Out) block is allocated into each port output queue and the global output queue. The FIFO block contains a number of FIFO nodes. Based on the type and destination ports of the received packet, the fields of the related FIFO node in the port output queue and the global output queue are set. The packets are sent out or skipped based on the related fields.

A process for producing porous polymer material. The method combines a polymer and water-soluble granules to form a mixture. The mixture is placed into a mold; the surface of the polymer is dissolved to cause cohesion and form a polymer structure having water-soluble granules dispersed within, and water is introduced into the inner part of the polymer structure so that the polymer is solidified and water-soluble granules are washed out to obtain a porous polymer material. According to the invention, single or multiple layers of porous polymer material with different apertures, porosities, or made with different materials, are obtained by combining different polymer materials and water-soluble granules having different particle sizes in different weight ratios.
