A display device includes a substrate including a display area and a peripheral area disposed around the display area, a pad area disposed near an edge of the substrate, and a plurality of pads disposed in the pad area and arranged along the edge of the substrate. An end of a first pad, which is an outermost pad among the plurality of pads, is connected to a first end of a resistor. The first pad is disposed between the resistor and the edge of the substrate, and a second end of the resistor is connected to a wire.

Display device

A display device includes a display panel that has a display area displaying an image and a non-display area around the display area. The display panel includes: a substrate; a plurality of connection lines on the substrate in the non-display area and including a first connection line and a second connection line adjacent to each other; a first dummy line overlapping and disposed on the first connection line; and a second dummy line overlapping the second connection line and disposed between the substrate and the second connection line.

Liquid crystal display and a method of measuring a capacitance of a liquid crystal display

A liquid crystal display substrate includes a gate line, a data line a switching element and a pixel electrode each provided in plural. The pixel electrodes include first to fourth pixel electrodes. The first pixel electrode is connected to a first gate line and a first data line. The second pixel electrode is connected to the first gate line and a second data line adjacent to the first data line. The third pixel electrode is connected to a second gate line adjacent to the first gate line and the first data line. The fourth pixel electrode is connected to the second gate line and the second data line. The first gate line overlaps the first and second pixel electrodes and the second gate line overlaps the third and fourth pixel electrodes. Sizes of the first to fourth pixel electrodes are different from one another.

Liquid crystal display substrate and liquid crystal display panel having the same

A display panel includes an array substrate including a plurality of connection lines extending from a plurality of signal lines and at least one repair line crossing the connection lines. An opposite substrate including a common electrode formed on a surface of the second substrate that is closest to the array substrate is coupled to the array substrate. The common electrode includes a plurality of openings that are positioned to align with a plurality of intersections between the connection lines and the repair line, thereby preventing an electrical coupling between the signal line and the common electrode.
