A keyboard comprises a key module and a backlight module in which the key module comprises a light-transmissive key part and an electric circuit substrate, and the backlight module comprises a light guide plate, a reflection unit and at least one light source. The backlight module is disposed between the key part and the electric circuit substrate. Thus, lights emitted by the light source are projected into the light guide plate from the lateral side of the light guide plate, and the lights are reflected by the reflection unit for directly passing through the light output surface of the light guide plate and the key part.

Keyboard

The present invention relates to a backlight module and a manufacturing method thereof. The backlight module comprises a thin film unit, a light guide unit, an insulation layer and at least a light source. The thin film unit is installed with a first circuit. The light guide unit is installed with a second circuit. The insulation layer is installed between the thin film unit and the light guide unit. The light source is electrically connected to the first circuit, and the light thereof projects into the light guide unit.

Backlight module

A backlight module provided includes a light source, a first light-guided plate, and a second light-guided plate stacked on the first light-guided plate. The first light-guided plate includes a plate body and an extension disposed on an edge of the plate body and extending towards the second light-guided plate aside a lateral side of the second light-guided plate. The plate body and the extension form a seamless light incident surface. The extension has a reflection surface. The reflection surface connects the light incident surface or the surface of the plate body. The light source is disposed at a light incident surface of the first light-guided plate for projecting light into the light-guided plate.

A backlight module comprises a light emitting element and a light guide panel having a light output surface in which the light output surface is with a first side, a second side, a through hole, a recess and plural microstructure rows. The microstructure rows are arranged on the light output surface, and the extending direction thereof is parallel to the extending direction of the first side. The through hole is installed between any two adjacent microstructure rows. The light emitting element is disposed in the recess in a central zone of the light output surface, and arranged to emit lights towards the second side. One major light emitting axis of the light emitting element deviates from the through hole.

A light guide plate, backlight module installed with the same and method of guiding light utilizing the same are provided. The light guide plate has a bottom surface, a light outlet surface opposite to the bottom surface, and a light inlet surface at least connected with the light outlet surface. A light is introduced to the light inlet surface and transmitted in the light guide plate. The light guide plate comprises a light transmissive substrate installed with at least one through hole, and a first slot installed on the light transmissive substrate and arranged at the periphery of the through hole.

Light guide plate, backlight module and method of guiding light

A light guide apparatus for a backlight module is provided. The light guide apparatus comprises a light guide plate and an electrical component. The light guide plate is configured with a circuit thereon. The electrical component is attached to the light guide plate and electrically coupled to the circuit. The light guide apparatus integrates a light guide panel, a circuit and an electrical component together for obtaining simpler structure and lower cost.

Light guide apparatus for a backlight module

A structure for eliminating bright lines of a tiled backlight module is provided. The structure includes a light guide plate, and a plurality of light sources. The light guide plate includes a plurality of rows of optical elements. The rows of optical elements extend in parallel. The light sources are provided at least one side of the light guide plate for projecting a light into the light guide plate and generating a regular but non-uniform light outputting performance of the light guide plate. Therefore, a brightness of areas where the optical elements are located is higher than the rest areas, so that the light guide plate achieves a regular but non-uniform light emitting performance. Accordingly, the bright lines occurred at joints between two light guide plates are enshrouded by the high brightness areas, and become hard to identify or even undistinguishable, thus 'eliminated'.
