This invention provides a cable connector including a body and a releasing member. The body has a front side and a rear side opposite to the front side. The releasing member includes a base, a pressing portion bending and extending toward the rear side from the base, a bending portion extending toward the front side and bending downwardly from the base, a supporting portion bending and extending toward the front side from the bending portion and two extending portions extending toward the rear side from the two sides of the bending portion.

Cable connector with releasing member

An electrical connector for connecting a plurality of cables with a PCB comprises an insulating housing and a plurality of first and second contacts received therein. The insulating housing comprises a first mounting surface and a second mounting surface parallel to each other and a tongue portion extending downwardly in an up-to-down direction. The first mounting surface is lower than the second mounting surface in the up-to-down direction forming a stepped surface. The tongue portion extends far away from the stepped surface and comprises opposite periphery surfaces. The first contact comprises a first connecting portion on the first mounting surface and a first contacting portion extending along one periphery surface of the tongue portion while the second contact comprises a second connecting portion on the second mounting surface and a second contacting portion extending along the other periphery surface of the tongue portion.

Electrical connector and assembly thereof

A connector includes an insulating seat defining a receiving cavity opening forwards, an optical module movably received in the receiving cavity and an actuating device. The optical module defines lenses at a front mating face thereof and a first touch portion at a rear face thereof. The actuating device is located behind the rear face of the optical module to urge the optical module moving forwards. The actuating device includes a spring coil and a connecting member defining a second touch portion which is urged by the spring coil to contact with the first touch portion. One of the first touch portion and the second touch portion provides a vertex and the other provides a planar so as to arrive a vertex-to-planar contact relationship between the first touch portion and the second touch portion.

Connector having floatable optical module

The present invention relates to a contact terminal unit and a socket connector incorporated with the same contact terminal units. A contact terminal unit comprises a plurality of conductive strings twisted into a single strand, and an insulative material encapsulating the strand. The socket connector is incorporated with a plurality of the same contact terminal units.
