A system for compensating display data of an image includes a display, a processor, and control logic operatively coupled to the display and the processor. The display has a plurality of pixels. The processor includes a graphics pipeline configured to generate a set of original display data of the image for a plurality of frames. The processor also includes a pre-processing module configured to determine a still portion of the set of original display data, and generate a set of compensation data for the still portion of the set of original display data. The set of compensation data includes a plurality of sub-sets of compensation data for the plurality of frames. The processor also includes a data transmitter configured to transmit, in each one of the plurality of frames, a stream of display data including one of the plurality of sub-sets of the compensation data.

Pixel block-based display data processing and transmission

An apparatus for display includes an active region, a gate scanning driver, and light emitting driver. The active region includes a plurality of subpixels. The gate scanning driver is operatively coupled to the active region and configured to scan the plurality of subpixels in a first period of each frame at a first rate. The light emitting driver is operatively coupled to the active region and configured to cause the plurality of subpixels to start emitting light in a second period of each frame at a second rate. The second rate is higher than the first rate. The second period overlaps the first period.

An apparatus includes an active region, a source driving circuit, and a light emitting driving circuit. The active region includes an array of light emitting elements corresponding to an array of pixels arranged in M rows and N columns. The number of the array of light emitting elements is k times of the number of the array of pixels. An apparatus includes a display panel and one or more drivers operatively coupled to the display panel. The display panel includes an array of pixels divided into at least a first zone and a second zone, each of which is associated with a plurality of display attributes. The drivers are configured to receive control signals, and drive the array of pixels based, at least in part, on the control signals so that a first value of at least one of the plurality of display attributes associated with the first zone is different from a second value of the at least one of the plurality of display attributes associated with the second zone.

An apparatus includes an active region, gate lines, source lines, a gate driver, and a source driver. The active region includes a plurality of subpixels.
