A location-related topic discussion system, an operating method, and a computer-readable recording medium are provided. The system includes a server having a topic-discussion database. In the server, the topic-discussion database is queried for obtaining one or more location-related discussion topics within a geographic range according to location information transmitted by a user device. The server then provides one or more location-related discussion-topic-category linking icons to the user device, and the one or more icons can be marked on a graphical user interface initiated by the user device. When a user selects one of location-related discussion-topic-category links, the server accordingly provides contents on a first layer topic-discussion page to be displayed by the user device. The first layer topic-discussion page includes multiple popularity-sorted topic-discussion areas and location-related discussion topic categories in accordance with personal preference of the user.

A method, a system for providing sight information, and a computer-readable recording medium are provided. The system provides a server having a content database and a sight-and-image database. A geographic range can be determined in a server when the server receives a location data from a user device. After querying the sight-and-image database according to the geographic range, one or more sights associated with at least one geographic location within the geographic range can be obtained. Afterwards, the content database is queried for obtaining one or more contents that are associated with the one or more sights. When query results are provided to the user device, the one or more sights are marked within the geographic range on a map interface.

Method, system for providing sight information and computer-readable recording medium

A method and a system for providing contents within a region of interest of a user are provided. The system includes a serving system having a database, and an application program executed in a user device. The application program is configured to initiate a user interface for allowing the user to browse the one or more contents within the region of interest. The serving system receives an instruction that is generated when the user clicks a link to enter the region of interest via the user interface. The database is queried according to one or more regions of interest of the user in a user regional activity profile, so as to obtain the contents within every region of interest. Lastly, the serving system provides links associated with the one or more contents to the user device, and the links can be displayed on the user interface.

When the server receives a selection of one of discussion-topic categories displayed on a first layer discussion-topic page, the discussion-topic database is queried for rendering a second layer discussion-topic page. The second layer discussion-topic page is displayed on the graphical user interface initiated by the user device, in which multiple discussion-topic areas are displayed in a first direction, and multiple discussion-topic areas associated with a location attribute or multiple discussion-topic categories that relate to topics of the discussion-topic areas in the first direction and match with a personal preference of a user are displayed in a second direction.

A method and a system for initiating a location-based topic are provided. The system includes a serving system that allows a user to initiate the location-based topic within a social media and a graphical user interface initiated in a user device through a software means. The method allows the user to initiate a topic page when browsing digital contents in the social media via the graphical user interface. Besides being able to browse various location-based topics created by other users and the responses, the user himself can also create a location-based topic provided for other users to browse and respond to. Through web and computer technology, the serving system allows the user to browse the various digital contents via the social media and interact with other users through the various location-based topics.

The system includes a server having a database and a linking-icon library. When the server receives location data from a user device, a geographic range can be determined. Afterwards, the linking-icon library is queried for obtaining the location-based content-linking icon that is used to be marked at the geographic location on a graphical user interface according to the category of the one or more location-based contents. The system includes a serving system having a database that stores a plurality of location-based digital contents and relevant hashtags. The system provides a browser program executed in a user device. In the method, the serving system receives position information from the user device so as to determine a geographic range. After querying the database, location-based digital contents within the geographic range can be obtained. The hashtags associated to the location-based digital contents within the geographic range can be obtained and displayed on the user interface for recommending the location-based digital contents within the geographic range to the user.

A set of search criteria with respect to the virtual message are defined. In the server, the data relating to every moving object, virtual message and the search criteria is established. The system facilitates the user to conduct remote management of managing multiple virtual messages and their associated moving objects at the same time.

The disclosure is related to a method and a system for sorting a search result with multiple space objects. The method is operated in a mobile device, and firstly a photographing unit therein is activated to capture an image of a real scene. The system receives the image information and the space information of the mobile device. The system conducts a comparison search using the captured space information/image information against a database for generating a preliminary search result. The space objects in the search result are sorted for generating a ranking list. One of the ranking criteria is based on the relevance data of the user for determining high relevance space objects. The basis for ranking can be time, objective data, or a system weighted value associated with every object. Then the mobile device displays the highest ranked space object from the search result combined with the real scene.

The disclosure is related to a method and a system for managing viewability of a location-based spatial object. The system provides subscribers to set up searching criteria for every spatial object through the viewability management mechanism. A viewable range for a spatial object is such as a spatial range, a user range and/or a time range. While the system inspects the spatial information and searching criteria of the spatial objects registered in a database, it may be found that the viewable ranges of multiple spatial objects are interfered under the same searching criteria. Thus, the system allows the subscribers to assign ranking weights to different spatial objects for giving them different values. As a result, the system adjusts an order to display the multiple spatial objects according to their ranking weights under the same searching criteria. A search result is displayed through an augmented-reality technology in a terminal device.

The disclosure is related to a method and a system for processing composited images. The method is operated in a computer. A software-enabled user interface is provided for a user to create a composited image using a touch screen. In the beginning, in response to the user's manipulation, at least two images are retrieved from a database. A background image and a foreground image are selected from the images. The user interface allows the user using a gesture over the background image displayed on the touch screen for generating a series of touch signals covering a specific area. The touch signals render a mask image. The mask is applied to the foreground image. The mask image of the background image covers the foreground image so as to create a new foreground image. The composited image is created when the new foreground image is composited with the background image.

The disclosure is related to a system and a method for creating a virtual message on a moving object, and for searching the virtual message. Under a data-construction mode, a user manipulates a mobile device to select a virtual message, and to capture a moving object. The mobile device allows the user to position the virtual message on the moving object. The system then receives data of the virtual message, the image information extracted from the moving object, and a viewable range for the virtual message relative to the moving object. The image information is employed to be the reference for the position of the virtual message. The disclosure is relating to a method and a system for remote management of a location-based spatial object. The system includes a database and a server. The server provides a remote management interface such as in a form of an electronic map or a street view. The interface allows a subscriber to remotely set multiple spatial information for one spatial object. The server receives the spatial object and its corresponding spatial information from the subscriber over a network, combined with various search criteria relating to the spatial object, resulting in the establishment of consolidated information for the location-based spatial object in the database. The disclosure is related to a method and a computer apparatus for processing a border of a computer figure and merging the figure into a background image. In the method, a user interface is provided for the user to operate the computer figure through a touch screen. The computer figure is configured to be merged into a background image, or a specific image object. The computer figure is processed by performing a border-treatment algorithm when it is moved and combined with the background image. In the process of border-treatment, the graphic information of the background image is taken into consideration. The computer figure is allowed to be well merged into the background image by considering the background's graphic information when the images are combined. Therefore, a visual effect of fusing the images can be achieved.
