A UPS system includes UPS devices and a common bus. The UPS devices are configured to output respective backup voltages. The common bus electrically interconnects the UPS devices for receiving the backup voltages, and is configured to output to the UPS devices a greatest one of the backup voltages as a dominant voltage. Each UPS device is operable to detect the backup voltage outputted thereby, to compare the backup voltage with the dominant voltage, to determine whether a power recovery signal is received from the power supply equipment, and to vary the backup voltage with a descending trend, where the varying of the backup voltage is conducted at least based on the dominant voltage and the backup voltage.

Uninterruptible power supply system and method for supplying backup power

A peripheral interface chip and a data transmission method thereof are provided. The peripheral interface chip includes a switching circuit, a universal serial bus (USB) host controller, a keyboard controller and a microprocessor. The switching circuit receives a device identification transmitted from a USB device, and the device identification is used for determining whether the USB device is a keyboard device. When the USB device is the keyboard device, input data of the USB device is transmitted to a controller hub through a first USB interface, the switching circuit, the USB host controller, the microprocessor, the keyboard controller and a low pin count (LPC) interface.

Peripheral interface chip and data transmission method thereof

An extension cord with AC and DC output, includes a first conducting line coupled to a positive end of a DC source and a first end of an AC source, a second conducting line coupled to a negative end of the DC source, a third conducting line coupled to a second end of the AC source, a first socket, and a second socket. The first socket includes a first node, a second node a third node respectively coupled to the first conducting line, the second conducting line, and the third conducting line. The second socket includes a fourth node, a fifth node and a sixth node respectively coupled to the first conducting line, the second conducting line, and the third conducting line. The second node floats when the first socket is provided with the AC output. The third node floats when the first socket is provided with the DC output.

A non-isolated AC/DC converter having power factor correction, comprising an active switch connected to a waveform controller for control, and sequentially showing conduction, cut off, making the alternating current power supply pass through one circuit rectifier for rectifying and forming one positive half sine wave electricity supply, which passes through a voltage step-down circuit to proceed with decreasing the voltage, then passing through a filter/storage circuit for filtering and forming direct current power supply, which is stored on this filter/storage circuit, then releasing the energy and supplying electricity to the electricity end; as a transformer isn't required, the circuit volume can be reduced, lowering costs, raising circuit conversion rates and achieving power factor correction and increasing the lifespan of the transformer, moreover, through the waveform controller controlling the output waveform, the storage circuit utilizes a lower capacity capacitor to avoid using an electrolytic capacitor, thereby increasing the circuits lifespan.
