An encrypted hard disk device is provided, including a near-field communication (NFC) sensing module, a processor, a storage unit, and a power switch. The NFC sensing module is configured to read a user identification (UID) of at least one sensor element. The processor is electrically connected to the NFC sensing module and the storage unit. The processor receives the UID and generates a control signal when the UID is approved. The power switch is electrically connected to the processor and the storage unit and maintains a conducting state according to the control signal and supplies power to the storage unit for accessing the storage unit.

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a metal housing, an insulation element, and an antenna unit. The insulation element is disposed on the metal housing and includes a first heat dissipation hole. The antenna unit is disposed on the insulation element and includes a radiation portion and a feeding portion. The radiation portion is composed of a conductor. The feeding portion is electrically connected to the radiation portion and a grounding plane. In this way, according to the electronic device, space configuration inside the electronic device is saved and a shielding effect of the metal housing is prevented from affecting stability of sending and receiving a signal.

A manufacturing method of a sensing module for an optical fingerprint sensor is provided. A plurality of photo detectors are formed in a light sensing layer. The photo detectors are arranged in a sensing array. A plurality of collimators are formed in a light filter layer. The collimators are divided into a plurality of collimator groups corresponding to the photo detectors. The collimator groups are arranged in a collimator group array. The light sensing layer is attached to the light filter layer so that the light filter layer is disposed on the light sensing layer and the collimator group array of the light filter layer is aligned with the sensing array of the light sensing layer. Each of the collimator groups corresponds to one of the photo detectors, and aligned with and disposed above the corresponding photo detector. Each of the collimator groups comprises the same number of collimators arranged in a specific pattern.

Manufacturing method of sensing module for optical fingerprint sensor

An optical fingerprint sensing module for sensing a fingerprint pattern of a finger placed on an upper surface of a display panel module is provided, wherein light is generated by the display panel module and reflected by the finger. The optical fingerprint sensing module includes a substrate, an image sensor disposed above the substrate, a collimating layer disposed above the image sensor, a light permeable layer disposed above the collimating layer, and a pinhole layer disposed above the light permeable layer. The collimating layer has a plurality of collimating holes, and the pinhole layer has a plurality of pinholes, wherein the number of collimating holes is greater than the number of pinholes. Light is reflected by the finger and then sequentially propagates through the pinholes, the light permeable layer, and the collimating holes to reach the image sensor.

A battery charging apparatus includes a charging power source, a plurality of charging circuits, a plurality of batteries, a plurality of switching circuits and a control circuit. The collimators are divided into a plurality of collimator groups corresponding to the photo detectors, and the number of collimator groups is equal to the number of photo detectors. The photo detectors receive reflected light from a user's finger through the collimators of the corresponding collimator groups.

Fingerprint identification system, sensing method and manufacturing method

A phase locked loop includes a voltage controlled oscillator operable to generate an output signal corresponding to a reference signal in response to a control voltage signal outputted by a filter in response to a current signal, and a variable frequency divider operable to perform frequency division on the output signal using a variable divisor so as to generate a divided feedback signal. A charge pump outputs the current signal in response to a phase detecting output from a phase/frequency detector indicating phases of the divided feedback signal and the reference signal. A phase error comparator outputs, in accordance with the phase detecting output, a digital output indicating whether the divided feedback signal lags or leads the reference signal and further indicating a phase difference between the divided feedback signal and the reference signal. The variable frequency divider determines a value of the variable divisor in accordance with the digital output to reduce the phase difference between the divided feedback signal and the reference signal.

The invention discloses a method for outputting consecutive characters in a video-recording mode. The method includes obtaining a first image and a second image from an object, comparing the first image and the second image to obtain a third image which is the overlapping part of the first image and the second image, removing the third image from the second image to generate a fourth image, integrating the fourth image with the first image to obtain a fifth image and recognize characters on the fifth image by OCR software and output the characters of the fifth image.

The present invention's method of processing three-dimensional images avoids repetition of matrix calculation, and effectively sets the picture frame's Memory address. Hence, it is suitable for three-dimensional images with real-time image. Furthermore, the invention could further include a variation memory arrangement method and device, which could interlace in the Memory the scanning line of the first and second 3D images. It is then possible to display the first and second 3D image groups on the display screen in an interlaced manner according to the traditional scanning circuit and address-translating circuit. As a result, the left eye and the right eye can view the first and second 3D image groups separately.
