A lighting system includes a first light source module providing a first light beam, a second light source module providing a second light beam, a beam splitting element with a first and a second side, a light condensing element, and a light homogenizing element. The beam splitting element guides the first portion of the first light beam to be output from the first side to be incident on the light homogenizing element and guides the second portion of the first light beam to be output from the second side to be incident on the light homogenizing element. The beam splitting element guides the first portion of the second light beam to be output from the first side to be incident on the light homogenizing element and guides the second portion of the second light beam to be output from the second side to be incident on the light homogenizing element.

Lighting system and projection device

An illumination device including a laser light source, a first wavelength selective element, and a wavelength conversion element is provided. The laser light source provides a laser beam. The first wavelength selective element has different transmittances for the laser beam incident at different angles. In a first mode of the illumination device, the laser beam is incident on the first wavelength selective element at a first angle, and the laser beam is reflected by the first wavelength selective element. In a second mode of the illumination device, the laser beam is incident on the first wavelength selective element at a second angle greater than the first angle, and the laser beam penetrates the first wavelength selective element. The wavelength conversion element converts the laser beam into a first converted light beam. A projection device using the illumination device is also provided.

Illumination device and projection device

A projection device, including an illumination light source, an electrochromic module, at least one light valve, and a projection lens, is provided. The illumination light source provides an illumination beam. The electrochromic module is disposed on a transmission path of the illumination beam. The electrochromic module includes at least one electrochromic element, and sequentially maintains or filters the illumination beam to provide a plurality of color beams. The at least one light valve is disposed on the transmission path of the color beams transmitted by the electrochromic module to convert each of the color beam into an image beam. The projection lens is disposed on a transmission path of the image beam to project the image beam out of the projection device. The projection device and the use method thereof provided by the disclosure may filter the color light output or the color space of a display image.

Projection device and use method thereof

A homogenizing module and a projection apparatus are provided. The homogenizing module is configured to homogenize a beam and includes an anisotropic diffuser and a homogenizer. The anisotropic diffuser is located on a transmission path of the beam. The beam has a first divergence angle in a first direction and a second divergence angle in a second direction after passing through the anisotropic diffuser. The first divergence angle is greater than the second divergence angle. The homogenizer is located on a transmission path of the beam from the anisotropic diffuser, and the homogenizer includes multiple optical elements. The size of any of the multiple optical elements in the first direction is greater than the size thereof in the second direction. The first direction is perpendicular to the second direction.
