A protective cover mechanism includes a housing, a protective cover and a latching piece. The housing includes an opening defined therethrough. The latching piece is assembled to the housing adjacent to the opening and comprises two holding arms. One holding arm defines a first locating portion and a second locating portion. A protective cover comprises a hinged post formed thereon, the protective cover is rotatably assembled to the housing by means of the latching piece with the hinged post held between the two holding arms. The protective cover is configured for selectively covering or exposing the opening of the housing as the hinged post is rotated from the first locating portion to the second locating portion.

Protective cover mechanism

A battery cover assembly using for accommodating a battery therein comprises a battery cover and a housing. The battery cover has a plurality of arcuate elements protruding therefrom. Each arcuate element has a latching portion protruding therefrom. The housing has a plurality of guiding grooves corresponding to the arcuate elements of the battery cover. The housing further has a plurality of troughs latching with the latching portions and a plurality of notches corresponding to the troughs. The arcuate elements are rotatably received in the guiding grooves. The notches communicate with the troughs, the latching portions releasably latches into the troughs via the notches. When the latching portions is received into the troughs, the battery cover is rotated relative to the housing to latch the latching portions in the troughs.

Battery cover assembly for portable electronic device

A protective cover mechanism includes a housing, a protective cover and a latching pole. The housing includes an opening defined therethrough. The protective cover is configured for covering the opening of the housing and includes a latching slot defined therethrough. The latching slot includes a first latching end and an opposite second latching end. The latching pole is integrally formed on the housing adjacent to the opening and is penetrated through the latching slot of the protective cover for slidably or rotatably assembling the protective cover to the housing. The latching pole is latchable to the first latching end or the second latching end of the latching slot to expose or cover the opening of the housing.
