A liquid crystal display includes a display substrate which includes a plurality of pixel areas and is curved in a first direction, an opposite substrate which faces the display substrate, is coupled to the display substrate, and is curved along the display substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed between the display substrate and the opposite substrate, where a plurality of domains are defined in each of the plurality of pixel areas, directions in which liquid crystal molecules of the liquid crystal layer are aligned are different from each other in at least two domains among the plurality of domains, and the plurality of domains is arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction.

Liquid crystal display

An electronic device includes a display layer, a sensor layer disposed on the display layer and including a first sensing pattern and a second sensing pattern spaced apart from the first sensing pattern. The first sensing pattern includes a first-first group including a first-first pattern and a first-second pattern spaced apart from the first-first pattern in a first oblique direction, a first-second group including a first-third pattern and a first-fourth pattern spaced apart from the first-third pattern in a second oblique direction crossing the first oblique direction. An electronic device includes: a display panel configured to display an image; an input sensor on the display panel and comprising a first sensing electrode and a second sensing electrode that is electrically insulated from the first sensing electrode, the input sensor being configured to sense a first input in a first mode and to sense a second input in a second mode; and an input device configured to provide the second input to the input sensor, wherein at least one of the first or second sensing electrodes comprises: a main mesh pattern in a crossing area in which the first and second sensing electrodes cross each other; and a sub mesh pattern in a non-crossing area on which the first and second sensing electrodes do not cross each other and which has a size different from that of the main mesh pattern.

A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels and an input sensing unit including a plurality of color filters that correspond with the pixels. The color filters include a plurality of conductive color filters that are electrically conductive, and the conductive color filters include first conductive color filters in first sensing areas arranged in a first direction and second conductive color filters in second sensing areas arranged in a second direction. The input sensing unit includes a first connection pattern electrically coupling the first conductive color filters and a second connection pattern electrically coupling the second conductive color filters.

A liquid crystal display according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a substrate; a thin film transistor disposed on the substrate; a pixel electrode connected to the thin film transistor; a roof layer facing the pixel electrode; a liquid crystal layer including liquid crystal molecules disposed in a plurality of cavities between the pixel electrode and the roof layer; and wherein the roof layer comprises a partition, which extends substantially parallel to a gate line connected to the thin film transistor.

Liquid crystal display and manufacturing method thereof

A liquid crystal display device includes a substrate, a cover layer which defines a tunnel-shaped cavity on the substrate, a support part which extends from the cover layer and corresponds to an edge of the tunnel-shaped cavity, a liquid crystal layer in the tunnel-shaped cavity, first and second electrode which apply an electric field to the liquid crystal layer, and a sealant layer which seals the tunnel-shaped cavity.

The present invention relates to a display device and a method of manufacturing the display device. The display device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a substrate. A pixel electrode is formed on the substrate. A roof layer is formed on the pixel electrode. A first micro-cavity and a second micro-cavity are disposed between the pixel electrode and the roof layer. A liquid crystal fills the first and second micro-cavities. The first and second micro-cavities are connected to each other by a path. The path penetrates the roof layer.
