A method for adjusting the electricity of a TFT has the steps of starting a displaying sequence by driving the TFT and resetting the electricity of the TFT. The step of starting the display sequence by driving the TFT further comprises the steps of: (a) providing a gate driving voltage to the gate electrode of the TFT; (b) providing a source driving voltage to the source electrode of the TFT; and (c) providing a drain driving voltage to the drain electrode of the TFT. The step of resetting the electricity of the TFT comprises the steps of: (a) providing a gate resetting voltage to the gate electrode of the TFT; (b) providing a source resetting voltage to the source electrode of the TFT; and (c) providing a drain resetting voltage to the drain electrode of the TFT. The gate resetting voltage is smaller than or equal to the source resetting voltage or the drain resetting voltage. The source resetting voltage and the drain resetting voltage are adjustable.

Method for driving active display

A pixel circuit for driving a plurality of pixel units within a display includes: a plurality of scanning lines formed within the display for transmitting scanning signals to the pixel units; a plurality of data lines formed within the display and transversely crossing the scanning lines for transmitting data signals to the pixel units, respectively; and a plurality of LDD-TFTs. The LDD-TFT is coupled to a respective scanning line, a respective data line and a driving transistor. The LDD-TFT includes a first lightly doped drain that is closest to the driving transistor and that has a first length, and a second lightly doped drain that has a second length shorter than the first length.

Pixle circuit system for a light emitting display

An electroluminescent display device is composed of a plurality of rows of pixels, each at least including a light emitting element, a switching transistor, and a driving transistor electrically coupled to the switching transistor and the light emitting element. A frame image is shown on the electroluminescent display device in a display period having a first time interval, a second time interval, and a third time interval. These rows of pixels are activated in order during the first time interval and the second time interval. And then, a display data is provided for these rows of pixels during the first time interval, subsequently a gray level data is provided for these rows of pixels during the second time interval, then these rows of pixels are reset during the third time interval.
