A semiconductor structure, integrated circuit device, and method of forming semiconductor structure are provided. In various embodiments, the semiconductor structure includes a substrate containing a high topography region and a low topography region, an outer protection wall on an outer peripheral portion of the high topography region next to the low topography region, and an anti-reflective coating over the outer protection wall, the high topography region, and the low topography region.

Semiconductor structure, integrated circuit device, and method of forming semiconductor structure

Techniques and examples of layer mapping, channel state information (CSI) feedback and hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback in mobile communications are described. A user equipment (UE) receives from a base station one or more reference signals, which may be non-zero power (NZP) or zero power (ZP), on one or more time-frequency resources indicated by a network via a communication link between the UE and the base station. The UE estimates, based on the receiving, a subspace spanned by a channel response of an interfering signal. The UE determines a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) based on the estimated subspace. The UE transmits to the base station a channel state information (CSI) feedback comprising at least the PMI. The PMI may include at least a first precoder and a second precoder.

Layer mapping, CSI feedback and HARQ feedback in mobile communications

An eye diagram observation device is provided. The eye diagram observation device includes an eye diagram determination circuit and a clock generator. The eye diagram determination circuit obtains an eye diagram corresponding to an input signal pair based on a delayed sampling clock. The clock generator includes a voltage to time converter (VTC). The VTC generates a delayed clock based on a voltage value of an input voltage. The clock generator generates the delayed sampling clock based on the delayed clock. The eye diagram observation device may reduce power consumption and a layout area via the VTC.

Eye diagram observation device

A backlight module having a bearing plate and a light module is provided. The bearing plate has a bearing surface, which includes a trough, a first groove, a first inner stage, and a first outer stage. The first groove is disposed close to the trough. The first inner stage is between the trough and the first groove while the first outer stage is on the side of the first groove opposite to the first inner stage. The light module is disposed on the bearing surface and corresponds to the trough. Comparing to the first inner stage, the first outer stage is more protruding toward the light module.

Methods for one radio module to listen to paging signals without breaking the data transmission of the other radio module operating in the connected mode and communication apparatuses utilizing the same

A communications apparatus. A first radio module communicates with a first wireless network and provides wireless communications services. A second radio module communicates with a second wireless network and provides wireless communications services. At least two antennas shared by the first radio module and the second radio module. When the first radio module operates in a connected mode and when the timing of the first radio module performing the first receiving activity coincides with the timing of the second radio module performing a second receiving activity, the first radio module reports a value of 1 for a Rank Indicator to the first wireless network at least once before the second radio module is to perform the second receiving activity, and then the second radio module uses one of the antennas to perform the second receiving activity.

The baseband signal processing device is configured to process baseband signals. The processor is configured to control operations of the RF signal processing device and the baseband signal processing device. The processor further receives a power control signal from a peer communications apparatus, obtains an assigned transmission power which is assigned by the peer communications apparatus for the communications apparatus to transmit a reference signal according to information carried in the power control signal, determines a spectral efficiency estimation value of the communications apparatus and directs the RF signal processing device to transmit the reference signal with a reduced transmission power which is smaller than the assigned transmission power when the spectral efficiency estimation value is smaller than a predetermined threshold.

Method for transmission power shaping and communications apparatus utilizing the same

A voltage regulator circuit includes a soft start module, a pulse width modulation (PWM) module, and a voltage regulator module. The soft start module is used to receive a current feedback voltage corresponding to an input current, and compare the current feedback voltage with a comparison voltage, so as to output a switching signal. The PWM module is used to receive a clock signal and the switching signal, and determine a first PWM signal and a second PWM signal outputted by the PWM module is a high voltage level or a low voltage level according to the clock signal and the switching signal. The voltage regulator module is used to receive and adjust an output voltage corresponding to the first PWM signal and the second PWM signal.

Voltage regulator circuit with soft-start function

A touch display panel includes a display panel and a touch sensing unit. The touch sensing unit includes first sensing series, and second sensing series. Each of the first sensing series includes a plurality of first transparent sensing pads and a plurality of non-transparent bridge lines disposed along a first direction. Each of the non-transparent bridge lines is disposed between two adjacent first transparent sensing pads, overlapping with two adjacent first transparent sensing pads, and electrically connected to two adjacent first transparent sensing pads. The line width of each non-transparent bridge line is substantially between 0.5 micrometers and 10 micrometers, and the reduction of aperture ratio in a pixel region of the touch display panel caused by the non-transparent bridge lines is substantially between 0.1% and 5%. Each non-transparent bridge line and the long axis of each sub-pixel region are disposed in a non-parallel manner with each other.

Touch display panel and touch sensing unit thereof

A touch substrate including a substrate, a plurality of first sensing series, a plurality of second sensing series, a plurality of signal pads, a plurality of signal transmission lines, and a plurality of conductive patterns is provided. The substrate has an active region and a peripheral region located outside the active region. The first and the second sensing series are disposed on the substrate and located in the active region. The signal pads are disposed on the substrate and located at the peripheral region. The signal transmission lines are disposed on the substrate and located in the peripheral region, and connect the first sensing series and the second sensing series to the corresponding signal pads. Each signal transmission line includes a winding portion disposed adjacent to one corresponding signal pad. Each conductive pattern is disposed on one signal pad and extends above the winding portion of one signal transmission line.

Touch substrate and touch display panel

A touch display panel includes a display panel and a touch sensing unit. The touch sensing unit includes first sensing series, and second sensing series. Each of the first sensing series includes a plurality of first transparent sensing pads disposed along a first direction, and a plurality of non-transparent bridge lines disposed along the first direction. Each of the non-transparent bridge lines is disposed between two adjacent first transparent sensing pads, overlapping with two adjacent first transparent sensing pads, and electrically connected to two adjacent first transparent sensing pads. The line width of each non-transparent bridge line is substantially between 0.5 micrometers and 10 micrometers, and the reduction of aperture ratio in a pixel region of the touch display panel caused by the non-transparent bridge lines is substantially between 0.1% and 5%.

A touch panel includes a substrate, a touch-sensing circuit, a plurality of sensing signal transmission wires, a capacitance compensation conductor, and a sensing signal readout circuit. The touch-sensing circuit is disposed on the substrate. The sensing signal transmission wires are disposed on the substrate and electrically connected to the touch-sensing circuit. The capacitance compensation conductor is disposed over the sensing signal transmission wires. Capacitance of each sensing signal transmission wire is C, and coupling capacitance between each sensing signal transmission wire and the capacitance compensation conductor is C. The sensing signal readout circuit is electrically connected to the sensing signal transmission wires. In each sensing signal transmission wire, variation of summation of Cand Cis less than a readout resolution of the sensing signal readout circuit. Another touch panel using an electrostatic discharge conductor to adjust varied capacitances of sensing signal transmission wires is also provided.
