As provided herein, a list of locales of interest in a location may be sorted into one or more categories. A user performing a search for a locale of interest (e.g., a restaurant) may be identified. A local score may be assigned to the locale of interest based upon a number of local users (e.g., users residing in the location) that perform the search. A second user may be determined to be near the locale of interest. A category of interest may be determined for the second user (e.g., an interest in local non-tourist restaurants). Responsive to the category of interest corresponding to the category and the local score of the locale of interest exceeding an interest threshold, the second user may be provided with a recommendation to go to the locale of interest. The locale of interest may be a local favorite restaurant rather than a tourist trap.

Locale of interest identification

A method and/or technique for geolocation safety awareness is provided herein. When a user, having a client device, travels to a location, threats associated with that location may not be known to the user. To determine a safety of the location, the location of a client device may be determined. A search for safety information about the location may be performed, and a threat level may be determined based upon the safety information. When the threat level exceeds a threat threshold, a security operation may be performed. The security operation may comprise presenting a warning notice to the user and/or activating a security timer.

Geolocation safety awareness

Method, system, and programs for providing a user interface are disclosed. In one example, a plurality of candidate user interfaces is determined. Each candidate user interface is associated with one or more parameters related to a user interface. Each of the plurality of candidate user interfaces is provided to a subset of users selected from the plurality of users. Inputs are obtained from the plurality of users with respect to each of the plurality of candidate user interfaces. One or more candidate user interfaces are selected from the plurality of candidate user interfaces based on the inputs. A new candidate user interface is generated based on the selected one or more candidate user interfaces. A user interface is identified based on the new candidate user interface and the selected one or more candidate user interfaces. The identified user interface is provided to the plurality of users.

Method and system for providing a user interface

Hotspot analysis systems and methods are provided. The hotspot analysis system includes a database, a filtering module, a clustering module, and an analysis module. The database includes a plurality of records, each including context information having at least time information and position information. The filtering module filters the records according to current context information to obtain a plurality of filtered records. The clustering module clusters the filtered records into at least one hotspot cluster according to the position information of the filtered records, and generates a hotspot area for each hotspot cluster. The analysis module calculates integral hotness for each hotspot cluster according to the number of the filtered records in the hotspot cluster and the size of the hotspot area of the hotspot cluster, and generates at least hotspot area information according to the integral hotness and the hotspot area of each hotspot cluster.
