A location-related topic discussion system, an operating method, and a computer-readable recording medium are provided. The system includes a server having a topic-discussion database. In the server, the topic-discussion database is queried for obtaining one or more location-related discussion topics within a geographic range according to location information transmitted by a user device. The server then provides one or more location-related discussion-topic-category linking icons to the user device, and the one or more icons can be marked on a graphical user interface initiated by the user device. When a user selects one of location-related discussion-topic-category links, the server accordingly provides contents on a first layer topic-discussion page to be displayed by the user device. The first layer topic-discussion page includes multiple popularity-sorted topic-discussion areas and location-related discussion topic categories in accordance with personal preference of the user.

Location-related topic discussion system, operating method and computer-readable recording medium

An adaptive discussion-topic system, an operating method thereof, and a non-transitory computer-readable recording medium are provided. The adaptive discussion-topic system includes a server having a discussion-topic database and a software program executed in a user device for initiating a graphical user interface. When the server receives a selection of one of discussion-topic categories displayed on a first layer discussion-topic page, the discussion-topic database is queried for rendering a second layer discussion-topic page. The second layer discussion-topic page is displayed on the graphical user interface initiated by the user device, in which multiple discussion-topic areas are displayed in a first direction, and multiple discussion-topic areas associated with a location attribute or multiple discussion-topic categories that relate to topics of the discussion-topic areas in the first direction and match with a personal preference of a user are displayed in a second direction.

Adaptive discussion-topic system, operating method thereof, and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium

A method and a system for providing a location-based content-linking icon based on a discussion content category, and a computer-readable recording medium are provided. The system includes a server having a database and a linking-icon library. When the server receives location data from a user device, a geographic range can be determined. After querying the database according to the geographic range, one or more location-based contents correlated with a geographic location within the geographic range can be obtained. Afterwards, the linking-icon library is queried for obtaining the location-based content-linking icon that is used to be marked at the geographic location on a graphical user interface according to the category of the one or more location-based contents. The location-based content-linking icon is dynamically updated when the category of the one or more location-based contents is changed.
