In an exemplary flat display apparatus and control circuit and method for controlling the flat display apparatus, the flat display apparatus includes a plurality of gate driving units, each of which controls the operation of a scan line in the flat display apparatus. The flat display apparatus provides a first gate high level voltage signal and a second gate high level voltage signal to the gate driving units such that the first and second gate high level voltage signals are used as voltage signals transmitted to corresponding scan lines. The first and second gate high level voltage signals respectively include a falling edge with a slope. Duration time of the falling edge of the first gate high level voltage signal is longer than that of the falling edge of the second gate high level voltage signal.

When the display panel displays at least one two-dimensional region and at least one three-dimensional region according to an image signal, the processor determines positions of the at least one two-dimensional region and the at least one three-dimensional region on the display panel according to the image signal. The timing control circuit is for generating an address signal according to the positions. The first driving circuit and the second driving circuit drive first enable lines coupled to the first driving circuit in groups and second enable lines coupled to the second driving circuit in groups respectively according to the address signal.

Liquid crystal display for displaying two-dimensional/three-dimensional images and method thereof

A stereo display includes a display panel, a first polarizer modulator disposed above the display panel, and a second polarizer modulator disposed above the first polarizer modulator. The second polarizer modulator includes a first lens set, a second lens set opposite to the first lens set, a polarization material, and a birefringent material. An angle between an extending direction of the first lens set and an extending direction of the second lens set is not 0 or 180 degrees. The polarization material is between the first lens set and the second lens set. The birefringent material is disposed in at least one of the first lens set and the second lens set.

An image display method of a stereo display apparatus is provided. The image display method includes the following steps. A stereo display apparatus is provided, wherein the stereo display apparatus provides N view zones for a viewer and includes a periodic structure and a pixel plane. N view zones are divided in a space according to the N value. Projection areas corresponding to each of the view zones are formed on the pixel plane by the periodic structure, wherein each of the projection areas corresponds to at least one sub-pixel unit on the pixel plane. Image information of each view zone is obtained according to the corresponding sub-pixel units. A stereo image is displayed by blending image information of each view zone.

An active array substrate, an electrode substrate, and a liquid crystal display panel (LCD) are provided. The LCD includes an active array substrate, an electrode substrate, and a liquid crystal layer. The active array substrate includes a base, a plurality of scan lines and data lines disposed on the base, a plurality of pixel electrodes, and a plurality of active devices. Each of the active devices is electrically connected to the corresponding scan line, date line, and pixel electrode to define a pixel region and a non-display region. The electrode substrate includes a base and a common electrode disposed on the base of the electrode substrate. The liquid crystal layer is formed between the active array substrate and the electrode substrate and includes liquid molecules with a threshold voltage, a saturation voltage and ions located in the non-display region.

The panel voltage is between the first and the second optimized common voltages.

Method for improving image sticking of liquid crystal displays

A spindle used in an ultrasonic machine for transmitting vibration to a working tool of the ultrasonic machine is disclosed. The spindle includes a main body, a rotor disposed in the main body, an elastic clamping unit disposed in the rotor, a vibrating unit having one end thereof connected to the inner wall of the rotor while the other end connected to the elastic clamping unit, and a pre-pressure unit penetrating the rotor and one end thereof connected to the elastic clamping unit to provide the elastic clamping unit with rigidity against the rotor, thereby making the elastic clamping unit provide pre-pressure to the vibrating unit which further provides the elastic clamping unit with vibration against the rotor. The present invention further provides a flexible hinge for the spindle.
