A method for mitigating pooling mura on LCD apparatus and a LCD apparatus are provided. The method is adapted for a LCD apparatus having a plurality of pixels. The LCD apparatus is for displaying frames according to a received original display data, and each of at least a part of the pixels comprises two pixel electrodes to drive a plurality of liquid crystal molecules between the two pixel electrodes. The method comprises changing a corresponding portion of the original display data so as to rotate at least a part of the liquid crystal molecules between the two pixel electrodes of the pressed pixel toward a natural angle; and maintaining another corresponding portion of the original display data. The natural angle is a finally-presented tilt angle of the liquid crystal molecules between the corresponding two pixel electrodes having substantially no potential difference therebetween.

Method for mitigating pooling mura on liquid crystal display apparatus and liquid crystal display apparatus

A liquid crystal display (LCD) and methods of driving same. In one embodiment, the LCD) includes a plurality of gate lines, {G}, spatially arranged along a row direction; a plurality of data lines, {D}, spatially arranged along a column direction perpendicular to the row direction, and a plurality of pixels, {P}, spatially arranged in the form of a matrix, where m=1, 2, . . . , M, n=1, 2, . . . , N, and M and N are positive integers. Each pixel Pis defined between two neighboring gate lines Gand Gand two neighboring data lines Dand D, and comprises a first sub-pixel electrode, a second sub-pixel electrode, a first transistor having a gate electrically coupled to the gate line G, a source and a drain electrically coupled to the first sub-pixel electrode, a second transistor having a gate electrically coupled to the gate line G, a source electrically coupled to the source of the first transistor and a drain electrically coupled to the second sub-pixel electrode, and a third transistor having a gate electrically coupled to the gate line G, a source electrically coupled to one of the two neighboring data lines Dand Dand a drain electrically coupled to the sources of the first and second transistors.

Liquid crystal display and methods of driving same

An electroluminescent display touch panel includes a base substrate and an encapsulating substrate. The base substrate includes a pixel switching device, a readout device, an electroluminescent device, and a sensing pad. The pixel switching device and the electroluminescent device are disposed in a display region. The readout device and the sensing pad are disposed in a non-display region. The encapsulating substrate includes a first spacer, a sensing spacer, and a conductive layer. The first spacer is disposed on the surface of the encapsulating substrate facing the base substrate, maintaining a cell gap between the base substrate and the encapsulating substrate. The sensing spacer is disposed on the surface of the encapsulating substrate facing the base substrate and corresponding to the sensing pad. The conductive layer is formed on the surface of the sensing spacer facing the sensing pad.

Electroluminescent display touch panel

A display circuit adapted for a display device and the display device are provided. The display device comprises a gate drive device, a data drive device and the display circuit. The display circuit comprises at least one display unit which has four pixels. Each of the pixels has two sub-pixels, each of which has a transistor coupled to a pixel electrode. The transistors of the two sub-pixels of each of pixels are cascaded to electrically connect to the data drive device. The transistors of the two sub-pixels of each of pixels are electrically connected to the gate drive device, respectively, to receive signals, provided from the gate drive device, as switching signals for determining whether a data voltage provided by the data drive device is received or not.

Display circuit adapted for a display device and display device

A display panel with multi-touch function includes a display area and a non-display area. The display area includes a data line, a gate line, a first sensing line, a second sensing line, and a sensing unit. The sensing unit electrically connects the first and second sensing lines according to a touch signal or electrically isolates the first sensing line from the second sensing line. The non-display area includes a gate driver, a first switch and a second switch. The first switch provides a path for charging the second sensing line according to a scan signal, and the second switch provides a path for discharging the second sensing line according to a reset signal.
