A UE performs up to a threshold number of attempts to transmit a default capability message to a base station, the default capability message representing a default set of CA combinations supported by the UE. If transmission is unsuccessful, the UE switches to a compact capability mode in which the UE attempts to transmit compacted UE capability messages representing successively smaller subsets of the default set of CA combinations until either a capability message is successfully received by the base station or a second threshold number of unsuccessful transmission attempts is performed. To facilitate configuration of an initial compacted capability message, the UE maintains a PC list that lists one or more cells that have been identified previously as incapable of receiving default-sized capability messages and that further identifies a representation of a limited subset of CA combinations to include in capability messages sent to a corresponding listed cell.

Adaptive UE capability message compaction

A method of synchronization in a training state of Universal Serial Bus (USB) includes sending SLOS1 ordered sets by a transmitter in a LOCK1 state, receiving the SLOS1 ordered sets by a receiver in the LOCK1 state, stopping the transmitter from sending training ordered sets according to a lane adapter state machine (LASM) if the transmitter sends the training ordered sets in the LOCK1 state continuously in an infinite loop. The training ordered sets include the SLOS1 ordered sets. The method further includes sending new SLOS1 ordered sets by the transmitter, receiving the new SLOS1 ordered sets by a receiver, and the transmitter and the receiver entering a LOCK2 state. The length of the new SLOS1 ordered sets is different from the length of the SLOS1 ordered sets.

Method of synchronization for universal serial bus and system thereof

A method for link transition in a USB device includes transmitting a plurality of first RS-FEC blocks by a first transmitter, receiving an UNBOND set by a receiver, waking up a second transmitter by a LASM when the receiver receives the UNBOND set, transmitting a training sequence by the second transmitter, transmitting a specific pattern sequence by the second transmitter after finishing transmitting the training sequence, determining whether a current RS-FEC block to be transmitted by the first transmitter is a DESKEW block, stopping transmitting the specific pattern sequence if the current RS-FEC block is determined to be the DESKEW block, and transmitting a plurality of second RS-FEC blocks by the first transmitter and the second transmitter.

Method for link transition in universal serial bus and system thereof

A method for link transitions in a Universal Serial Bus system includes transmitting a plurality of first RS-FEC blocks by a first transmitter of the USB system, transmitting a training sequence by a second transmitter of the USB system, determining number of sets in a first RS-FEC block which have been transmitted by the first transmitter when the second transmitter completes transmitting the training sequence, generating a specific pattern sequence according to the number of sets in the first RS-FEC block which have been transmitted by the first transmitter and a total number of sets in the first RS-FEC block, and transmitting the specific pattern sequence by the second transmitter.

Disclosed are composites comprising copper foils having at least one smooth surface and an adhesive layer with low Dk and Df properties. Also disclosed are copper clad laminates made by laminating the present composites with flexible or rigid substrates that exhibit heat resistance and good to excellent bonding strength. The present invention discloses a new dual polarized array waveguide antenna configured above a signal processing substrate and sequentially including an antenna array substrate, a coupling substrate and a waveguide body. The antenna array substrate includes a plurality of patches, each of which having a first coupling portion and a second coupling portion coupled to the signal processing substrate. The top surface of the coupling substrate includes a plurality of coupling pads corresponding to the patches, and each coupling pad is configured above an intersection area of the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion. The waveguide body includes a plurality of waveguide channels passing through the waveguide body and corresponding to the coupling pads. Each waveguide channel has a first ridge pair and a second ridge pair projecting from wall surfaces. Each of the first ridge pair and the second ridge pair has a tapered opening portion withdrawn toward the wall surface of the waveguide channel on an upper section of the waveguide channel. Accordingly, signal transmission quality is improved by the structural arrangement above.

Dual polarized array waveguide antenna

A fiber spreading apparatus which is configured to spread a carbon fiber bundle, and includes a feeding roll, a winding roll, a vibrating roller, and a first nozzle. The vibrating roller is disposed between the feeding roll and the winding roll, and is in contact with the carbon fiber bundle. The vibrating roller is rotated according to an axis of rotation, and is vibrated along a vibrating direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The first nozzle is disposed between the vibrating roller and the winding roll, and blows the carbon fiber bundle.

Fiber spreading apparatus

The present invention discloses a new single polarized array waveguide antenna adapted to be configured above a signal processing substrate, and including an antenna array substrate and a waveguide body. The antenna array substrate includes a plurality of antenna units, each of which having a coupling portion and an impedance matching portion. The waveguide body is configured above the antenna array substrate, and includes a plurality of waveguide channels passing through the waveguide body. Each waveguide channel has a first ridge and a second ridge projecting from wall surfaces and arranged opposite to each other. The first ridge has a first lower withdrawn edge on a lower section of the waveguide channel, and the second ridge has a second lower withdrawn edge on the lower section of the waveguide channel. The first lower withdrawn edge is distanced from the antenna array substrate by a first matching height, and the second lower withdrawn edge is distanced from the antenna array substrate by a second matching height, wherein the first matching height is different from the second matching height. Accordingly, signal transmission quality is improved by the structural arrangement above.

Single polarized array waveguide antenna

A novel miniaturized horizontal split-wave orthomode transducer includes a common channel portion, a first polarized channel portion and a second polarized channel portion, and the centers of the openings of the first polarized channel and the second polarized channel are coaxially and respectively arranged on two opposite sides of the common channel portion to save the bend and extended structure at the rear end of the horizontal split-wave orthomode transducer and also save the occupied space since there is no need to guide signals in one of the polarization directions to the rear and return the signals, so as to further achieve the effects of improving the flexibility of installing the transducer, providing a good isolation between electromagnetic signals in different polarization directions and preventing the interference occurred between the electromagnetic signals.

Method and apparatus for handling compression error in mobile communications
