An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an outer shell, an insulated housing, and receptacle terminals. The receptacle terminals are held at the insulated housing. The metallic shell covers the insulated housing. The outer shell covers the metallic shell. The metallic shell has a reduced length to allow the exposure of the tongue portion. Elastic pieces of the outer shell extend toward the recessed holes of the metallic shell. When an electrical plug connector is mated with the electrical receptacle connector, the housing of the electrical plug connector contacts the elastic pieces of the electrical receptacle connector, so that the holding force between the electrical plug connector and the electrical receptacle connector can be increased. Hence, when the electrical plug connector is mated with the electrical receptacle connector, the high-frequency interference issue during signal transmission can be reduced.

Electrical receptacle connector with inner and outer metallic shells

An electric connector structure includes a base, a tongue piece, a shielding case, a first terminal row, a second terminal row, a middle partition, a first shielding sheet and a second shielding sheet. The shielding case sheathes the base and the tongue. The first terminal row and the second terminal row are disposed on two distal surfaces of the tongue piece. The middle partition is disposed in the tongue piece. The first shielding sheet has a first terminal elastic arm extended toward and abutting against the first terminal row, and a first case elastic arm extended toward and abutting against the shielding case. The second shielding sheet has a second terminal elastic arm extended toward and abutting against the second terminal row, and a second case elastic arm extended toward and abutting against the shielding case. Accordingly, interferences of the electromagnetic wave and the crosstalk are improved.

Electrical connector structure

An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing in the metallic shell, a plurality of terminals at the insulated housing, and a metallic plate at the insulated housing. The terminals include two first terminal groups and two second terminal groups arranged in two rows, and the two rows are respectively arranged on the two faces of a tongue portion of the insulated housing. A length of each contact portion of each second terminal group is greater than a length of each contact portion of each first terminal group. The metallic plate is between the first terminal groups and the second terminal groups. The metallic plate has one or more extension portion between the contact portions of at least two adjacent terminals of one or more of the second terminal groups. The structural strength of the tongue portion can be improved by the extension portion.

Electrical receptacle connector with central shield

An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing in the metallic shell, a plurality of terminals at the insulated housing, and a metallic plate. The terminals are arranged in two rows, and the metallic plate is at the insulated housing and between the terminals in the two rows. The metallic plate includes a first through hole portion, several second through hole portions, and several communication hole portions communication hole portions. By allowing that the communication hole portions communication hole portions to be in communication with the first through hole portion and the second through hole portions in the metallic plate, the molding efficiency for forming the tongue portion with the filling of the plastic materials can be increased.

Electrical receptacle connector with metallic plate

An electrical connector is provided, including an insulating body, multiple terminals, and a metallic plate. The insulating body has a base portion and a tongue portion. The terminals are disposed at the insulating body and extending from the base portion to the tongue portion, respectively. Portions of the terminals exposed from the tongue portion are configured to be mated with terminals of another electrical connector. The metallic plate is disposed in the insulating body. The terminals are divided into two groups by the metallic plate. The metallic plate has at least one strip connecting portion, and the strip connecting portion exposes at the base portion of the insulating body.

An electrical receptacle connector includes a metallic shell, an insulated housing in the metallic shell, a plurality of terminals at the insulated housing, and a metallic plate. The terminals are arranged in two rows, and the metallic plate is at the insulated housing and between the terminals in the two rows. The metallic plate includes a through hole at a front portion of the tongue portion. The through hole has several through portions and a communication portion between the through portions. By allowing that the communication portion to be in communication with the through portions to form a through hole in an elongated shape, the molding efficiency for forming the tongue portion with the filling of the plastic materials can be increased.

Electrical receptacle connector

An electrical receptacle connector includes an insulated housing, a plurality of terminals, and a metallic plate. The terminals and the metallic plate are at the insulated housing. The terminals are held at the insulated housing and arranged into two rows. The metallic plate is at a tongue portion of the insulated housing and between the terminals which are arranged into two rows. The metallic plate has a main body and a plurality of extension portions. Each of the extension portions extends outwardly from the main body and corresponds to a protrusion of a corresponding one of the terminals. A distance between each of the protrusions and a corresponding one of the extension portions is less than a distance between each of the contact portions and the corresponding one of the extension portions. A retaining spacing is between the protrusions of the terminals and the extension portions of the metallic plate.

An electrical connector including a base member and a plurality of first terminals disposed in the base member is provided. Each of the first terminals has an contact segment and an tail segment opposite to each other. The contact segments respectively belong to two different parallel planes, and the tail segments are located on a same plane. The first terminals form a plurality of terminal sets in the tail segments, and each of the terminal sets includes a ground terminal, a pair of super speed differential terminals, and a power terminal which are adjacent to each other and are sequentially arranged.

An electrical connector assembly including an electrical connecting member, at least one connector, and at least one metal cover is provided. The connector is disposed at and electrically connected to the electrical connecting member. The metal cover is disposed on the electrical connecting member, such that the electrical connecting member is located between the metal cover and the connector, and the connector is covered by the electrical connecting member.

An electrical plug connector includes an insulated housing, contact terminals held in the insulated housing, an outer shell covering the insulated housing, and hook members. First buckle structures are at side arms at two sides of the insulated housing. Each of the hook members includes a second buckle structure mating with the corresponding first buckle structure. The buckle structures are of crescent shapes and mated with each other. When the press portion of the hook member is pressed by an excessive force, the first/second buckle structure stops the second/first buckle structure to prevent the elastic arm of the hook member from deforming. When the elastic arm is bounced back excessively, the first/second buckle structure stops the second/first buckle structure to prevent the hook member from detaching off the side arm.

Electrical plug connector

A cable connector including a first base, a second base, a plurality of first terminals disposed in the first base with a plurality of first tail segments exposed out of the first base, a plurality of second terminals disposed in the second base with a plurality of second segments exposed out of the second base, and a plurality of cables electrically connecting the second terminals is provided. The first and the second bases are detachably assembled, such that the first tail segments are detachably connected to the second contact segments in structural contact to electrically connect the first terminals and the second terminals. An electrical adaptor is also disclosed.
