A cell and tissue sheet forming package includes a container body, a membrane, a sliding door plate and a sealing film. The sliding door plate is disposed slidably on a top of the container body to cover or expose the membrane. The sliding door plate has a hole and a passive magnetic assembly. The cell injection equipment includes a carrier, an injection mechanism and a drive mechanism. The carrier carries the package, and the drive mechanism moves the carrier and the injection mechanism to have the injection mechanism to inject a solution, through the hole, into the package. A heating element of the carrier is introduced to heat the membrane and the solution to transform the solution into a colloid sheet on the membrane. Then, the positive magnetic assembly engages magnetically the passive magnetic assembly to slide the sliding door plate to expose the colloid sheet on the membrane.

Cell and tissue sheet forming package and cell injection equipment

A bioprintable material is provided. The bioprintable material includes a hydrogel and microfilaments mixed in the hydrogel. The hydrogel includes a first collagen. The microfilament includes a second collagen. The diameter of the microfilament is ranging from 5 microns to 200 microns. The weight ratio of the microfilaments to the first collagen is ranging from 0.01:1 to 10:1.

Bioprintable material and method for fabricating the same

A method for preparing a bifunctional film, including: (a) drying a first polymer solution to form a film to form an anti-adhesion layer, and (b) drying a second polymer solution over the anti-adhesion layer to form a film to form an attachment layer. The first polymer solution includes a first hydrophobic solution and a first hydrophilic solution, and in the first polymer solution, the weight ratio of the solute of the first hydrophobic solution to the solute of the first hydrophilic solution is 1:0.01-1. Moreover, the second polymer solution is composed of a second hydrophilic solution.

Bifunctional film

A method for preparing a bifunctional film, including: (a) drying a first polymer solution to form a film to form an anti-adhesion layer; and (b) drying a second polymer solution over the anti-adhesion layer to form a film to form an attachment layer. The first polymer solution includes a first hydrophobic solution and a first hydrophilic solution, and in the first polymer solution, the weight ratio of the solute of the first hydrophobic solution to the solute of the first hydrophilic solution is 1:0.01-1. Moreover, the second polymer solution consists of a second hydrophilic solution.

Bifunctional film and method for preparing the same

A cell culture module, a cell culture system and a cell culture method are provided. The cell culture module includes a casing, a first fixer, a second fixer and a sheet-shaped carrier member. The casing has a chamber and at least one inlet/outlet. The inlet/outlet communicates with the chamber. The first fixer is fixed to the casing and located in the chamber. The second fixer is disposed in the chamber and is movable relative to the first fixer. The sheet-shaped carrier member is formed by arranging a plurality of cell culture carriers, and two opposite ends of the sheet-shaped carrier member are respectively fixed to the first fixer and the second fixer. The sheet-shaped carrier member is in an open state or a folded state according to a variation in a distance between the first fixer and the second fixer due to a movement of the second fixer.

Cell culture module, cell culture system and cell culture method

A biodegradable sealant includes: a polyethylene glycol derivative; a photoinitiator; and a solvent, wherein the content of the polyethylene glycol derivative is about 10-75 wt % in the biodegradable sealant. The polyethylene glycol derivative is obtained by a substitution reaction, and in the substitution reaction, the polyethylene glycol is modified with methacrylic anhydride.

Biodegradable sealant and use of a biodegradable sealant in manufacture of an agent for biological tissue adhesion or repair

An ophthalmic drug delivery device and a method for fabricating the same are provided. The ophthalmic drug delivery device includes a shield element and a drug release element. The shield element has a light transmittance more than or equal to 80%. The drug release element is an annular body so that the drug release element surrounds the shield element. The drug release element is neutral and includes a cross-linked neutral collagen, a first hydrophilic biodegradable polymer and a drug. The shield element is acidic and includes a cross-linked acidic collagen and a second hydrophilic biodegradable polymer.

Ophthalmic drug delivery device and method for fabricating the same

An implanting device is used for implanting a membrane in a biological tissue. The implanting device includes a sleeve, a membrane storage element, an injection element and a bubble generating element. The membrane storage element is fixed at the sleeve. The injection element is inserted in the sleeve and the membrane storage element, and includes a capturing end and connecting end. The capturing end is for capturing the membrane and has a hole. The bubble generating element is connected to the connecting end, and is for providing a gas that is then outputted via the hole. By the rotation of the injection element, the capturing end extends straight out of the membrane storage element or retracts straight into the membrane storage element.

Implanting device

A cell culture carrier module and a cell culture system having the same are provided. A cell tank and a culture medium module respectively communicate with the carrier module. The carrier module includes a reactor, a first fixer, a second fixer and a plurality of cell culture carriers. The reactor has a chamber and at least one inlet/outlet. The inlet/outlet communicates with the chamber. The first fixer is fixed to the reactor and located in the chamber. The second fixer is disposed in the chamber and is movable relative to the first fixer. Two ends of each cell culture carrier are fixed to the first fixer and the second fixer, respectively. The cell culture carriers are in an untwisted state or a twisted state according to a variation in a distance between the first fixer and the second fixer due to a movement of the second fixer.

Cell culture carrier module and cell culture system

The present disclosure provides a hydrogel composition including: a hydrogel having a structure represented by Formula (I) or Formula (II) shown as follows: A-B-BOX-B-A, Formula (I); B-A-B-(BOX-BAB)n-BOX-B-A-B, Formula (II), wherein, A is a hydrophilic polyethylene glycol polymer, B is a hydrophobic polyester polymer, BOX is a bifunctional group monomer of 2,2'-Bis(2-oxazoline) for coupling di-block of A-B or tri-block of B-A-B, and n is an integer greater than or equal to 0; and an anti-adhesion additive, wherein the anti-adhesion additive comprises a carbohydrate, a nitrogen-containing cyclic compound, a polymer or a combination thereof.

Hydrogel composition and method for using the same

According to embodiments, a membrane with a flat or curved surface is provided for protection of intraocular tissues. The membrane can be used to cover the cornea for protecting corneal endothelial cells, to cover the anterior and posterior surface of the iris, or to cover the surface of the posterior capsule for separating the intraocular tissues. The membrane has a layered structure, which is composed of a collagen and a hydrophilic biopolymer or an organic polymer material. In particular, the membrane has high transparency and high water retention in a wet state.

Membrane for protecting intraocular tissues and the protection methods used thereof

A bioresorbable porous film, including a blend mixture of polylactic acid and at least two kinds of polyethylene glycol, wherein the at least two kinds of polyethylene glycol include a first polyethylene glycol, which is in a solid form under ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure, and a second polyethylene glycol, which is in a liquid form under ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure is provided. The film has a porosity of 10%-90%.

Bioresorbable porous film

The disclosure provides a solid form and a method for preparing the same. The solid form consists essentially of a biodegradable copolymer and an amide-containing compound. The biodegradable copolymer is semi-crystalline due to the dipole-dipole interaction between the biodegradable copolymer and the urea. The method for preparing the above solid form includes: dissolving a biodegradable copolymer and an amide-containing compound in water at a first temperature, obtaining a solution; cooling the solution at a second temperature to form a solid mixture; and the solid mixture is subjected to a freeze-drying process at a third temperature.
