A flame-retardant rigid polyurethane foam contains a flame retardant, the foam having a ratio of the maximum peak intensity ratio (P1) of the foam after moist heat treatment of the foam for one week at a temperature of 80&#xb0; C. and a humidity of 85% to the maximum peak intensity ratio (P2) of the foam before this moist heat treatment of 85% or more (P1/P2x100). The P1 and P2 each refer to the ratio of the maximum peak intensity of 1390 to 1430 cmto the maximum peak intensity of 1500 to 1520 cmwhen the infrared absorption spectrum is measured at a position 5 to 10 mm from the surface of the foam, and the average intensity of 1900 to 2000 cmis adjusted to zero.

Flame-retardant rigid polyurethane foam

Provided is a polyol composition for obtaining a polyurethane foam by reacting the composition with a polyisocyanate compound. The polyol composition contains a polyol, a transition metal compound, and a tertiary amine.

The foamable composition according to the present invention comprises a copolymer of ethylene, an &#x3b1;-olefin and a non-conjugated diene, a blowing agent, a crosslinking agent, a catalyst and a reaction suppressor, wherein in the foamable composition, the storage elastic modulus at 23&#xb0; C. as measured by a viscoelasticity measuring apparatus is 2&#xd7;10Pa or lower, and the storage elastic modulus after the foamable composition is held at 115&#xb0; C. for 200 seconds is 5&#xd7;10Pa or higher; thereby, a foam body having a low expansion ratio, a low compression strength and a high cushioning property can be produced.
