Discussed is an autostereoscopic three-dimensional (3D) display including: a display panel having a plurality of pixels and an aperture area disposed at each pixel; a lens film disposed on a front surface of the display panel and having a plurality of lenticular lens, the lenticular lenses having a slanted angle and continuously arrayed in a lateral direction, and the aperture area having at least two sub-aperture areas; a central black strip disposed between two sub-aperture areas; and side black strips disposed at a left, side and a right side of the aperture area, respectively.

Autostereoscopic 3-dimensional display

An autostereoscopic three-dimensional (3D) display, in which a multi view structure is configured by using a lenticular lens, includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, and an aperture area disposed at each pixel; and a lens film disposed on a front surface of the display panel and including a plurality of lenticular lenses, the lenticular lenses having a slanted axis and continuously arrayed along to a lateral direction, in which the aperture area includes a parallelogram shape, and the slanted axis is parallel with any one diagonal axis of the aperture area.

The present disclosure relates to an autostereoscopic three-dimensional (3D) display in which the multi view structure is configured by using a lenticular lens. The autostereoscopic 3D display includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, and an aperture area disposed at each pixel; and a lens film disposed on a front surface of the display panel and including a plurality of lenticular lenses, the lenticular lenses having a slanted axis and continuously arrayed along to a lateral direction, wherein the aperture area includes at least two sub-aperture areas having a same size and same shape of a parallelogram, and the slanted axis is parallel with any one diagonal axis of the sub-aperture area.

A stereoscopic image display can include an optical cell and a display panel including pixels defined by first and second short sides extended in a first direction, and first and second long sides extended in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; and apertures defined by first and second sides parallel to the first long side, and third and fourth sides parallel to each other, in which the third side is inclined with a first predetermined angle between the first short side and the third side, the fourth side is inclined with a second predetermined angle between the first long side and the third side, a ratio of a length of the first short side to a length of the first long side is 1:2, and a ratio of a length of the first side to a length of the first long side is 1:2.

Stereoscopic image display

A non-glasses type stereoscopic image display device comprises: a display panel that comprises a plurality of sub-pixels and displays multi-view images in predetermined units; and an optical plate array that is formed side by side with the sub-pixels and divides the multi-view images into a plurality of multi-view areas, each of the sub-pixels comprising a first color sub-pixel, a second color sub-pixel, and a third color sub-pixel, which alternate in the same row along a horizontal direction in which gate lines extend and are formed side by side along a vertical direction in which data lines extend in different columns, wherein vertically neighboring sub-pixels displaying different colors partially overlap each other in the vertical direction.
