An ink jet head includes a piezoelectric element that is driven in a d33 mode, a pressure generation chamber in which a pressure is generated by the piezoelectric element, and an individual ink supply flow passage that through which the ink is supplied to the pressure generation chamber. The ink jet head includes an individual ink discharge flow passage that through which the ink is discharged from the pressure generation chamber, and a nozzle that ejects the ink from the pressure generation chamber. In a cross-sectional view in a direction orthogonal to an arrangement direction of the nozzle, inner diameters of the pressure generation chamber, the individual ink supply flow passage, and the individual ink discharge flow passage are shorter on a part close to the nozzle than a part close to the piezoelectric element side. Accordingly, an ink jet head capable of ejecting high-viscosity ink can be provided.

Ink jet head

The ink jet device is provided with a plurality of ink jet heads including a plurality of nozzles disposed linearly with each other at intervals in a predetermined longitudinal direction and ejecting ink in different regions each other in the printing width direction; and a position adjusting mechanism performing rotating operation of changing the intervals in the printing width direction of the nozzles by rotating the plurality of ink jet heads around an axis perpendicular to the print surface of the print object, and performing a shifting operation of shifting at least one of the plurality of ink jet heads in the printing width direction.

Ink jet device

An object of the disclosure is to provide an inkjet head that makes it possible to realize alleviation of ink-discharge malfunction due to fluid crosstalk possibly caused among multiple discharge components, and that also simultaneously makes it possible to maintain a desirable volume of discharged liquid droplets. Furthermore, another object of the disclosure is to provide an inkjet device including the inkjet head.

Inkjet head and inkjet device using same

An ink supply device for a printhead includes an ink cartridge and a damper device. The ink cartridge is connected to the printhead through a flexible tube. The printhead is mounted on a carriage that reciprocates, and discharges an ink drop to perform printing. The damper device is mounted on the carriage to relax pressure fluctuation of ink supplied from the ink cartridge to the printhead. The damper device has a case, an ink introduction passage, and a flexible plate. The case defines a pressure chamber communicated with the printhead. The ink introduction passage is communicated with the flexible tube, and is communicated with the pressure chamber. The flexible plate is provided so as to define a part of the pressure chamber, and has a waveform portion formed with a plurality of waveforms.
