A control device for an electric compressor, capable of successfully controlling a drive motor of the compressor in response to the load fluctuation having complicated frequency components even when the motor is controlled in a sensorless manner, is provided. The control device for an electric compressor includes: a repetitive control portionto which a rotation speed difference between a target rotation speed of a motor which drives the compressor and the estimated rotation speed is input to perform a repetitive operation using the rotation speed difference of one preceding cycle of the compressor, thereby reducing the rotation speed difference; a pressure detecting portionfor the compressor; and a reset signal generation portioncalculating a timing of one rotation of the compressor by counting the number of predetermined parts of load fluctuations of the compressor based on the pressure value of the compressor, thereby outputting a reset signal to the repetitive control portion according to the timing.

Control device for electric compressor

A motor control device of the present invention supplies a detection current to a motor at predetermined time intervals, detects a voltage between the both ends of a smoothing capacitor when the detection current is supplied, and determines whether a connector is inserted or unplugged based on a change in the voltage between the both ends of the smoothing capacitor. Furthermore, if determining that the connector is unplugged, the motor control device decreases the voltage between the both ends of the smoothing capacitor to or below a defined value by discharging the smoothing capacitor.

Motor control device and electric compressor

An electric motor control device is capable of reducing vibration in a speed fluctuation range at a high frequency. The electric motor control device includes a target rotation speed setting unit that sets the target rotation speed of an electric motor, a rotation speed estimation unit that calculates an estimated rotation speed of the electric motor, and a drive command signal generation unit that generates a drive command signal for the electric motor so as to eliminate a rotation speed difference between the target rotation speed and the estimated rotation speed. The rotation speed estimation unit includes an error calculation unit that calculates an error related to rotation of the electric motor and an estimated corrected rotation speed calculation unit that calculates an estimated corrected rotation speed by taking the error as input and correcting the estimated rotation speed.
