On a back side of a table, moving bodies are provided being movable in a left-right direction. A bending system includes moving actuators to cause the moving bodies to move in the left-right direction relative to the table and position detectors to detect positions of the moving bodies in the left-right direction. The moving bodies are provided with hole detectors to detect the engagement holes of tools fitted to a tool holder. The bending system includes a hole position acquisition unit to acquire positions of the engagement holes of the tools in the left-right direction, based on positions of the moving bodies in the left-right direction at the time of the engagement holes of the tools being detected.

Bending system

In a first step, a pulling operation is performed with respect to four tools by retaining, in an immovable state, a leftmost tool from among the four tools lined up on a tool mounting unit by means of a left ATC and by moving, toward the left ATC, a rightmost tool from among the four tools by means of a right ATC. In a second step, a movement of the right ATC is stopped when a torque of a motor for moving the right ATC in a left-right direction reaches a preset set value. The first step includes a choosing step of choosing, for the respective left and right ATCs, whether to perform the pulling operation in a state of being abutted against respective side surfaces of the tools or to perform the pulling operation in a state of being engaged with respective engagement holes of the tools.

Method of arranging divided tool and press brake

A punch tool with an expanded portion, a movable punch provided on a fixed punch so as to be able to move up and down in a direction along an inclined portion, and an interlocking member configured to interlock with a relative ascending and descending motion of the movable punch with respect to the fixed punch. The punch tool with an expanded portion is provided with an operation member provided on the fixed punch so as to be movable in the lateral direction, configured to move in the lateral direction by means of a moving motion of an external operation member, and including an abutting element capable of being abutted with the interlocking member, and an urging member configured to urge the operation member toward the inside in the lateral direction such that the abutting element is abutted with the interlocking member.

Punch tool with expanded portion and method of operating the same

Different divided tools are attached to tool attachment portions using automatic tool changers in proximity to slit tools that have already been attached to tool attachment portions. The attached different divided tools are moved toward the previously attached divided tools using the automatic tool changers, and the different divided tools are caused to abut on the previously attached divided tools. In a case in which a torque of a servomotor for moving the automatic tool changers in a left-right direction has reached a setting value set in advance, the different divided tools are detected to have abutted on the previously attached divided tools, and the moving of the different divided tools is stopped.

Divided tool attachment method and press brake

An upper die is removable in an up-down direction with respect to an upper die mounting groove that is arranged in a left-right direction at a lower part of an upper table of a press brake. The upper die includes a stop piece having a stop projection that is engageable with a stop groove that is formed in the left-right direction in each of upper die contact faces which face each other in a front-rear direction, the stop piece being movable out of and into a surface of the upper die and pushed in a direction to project out of the surface of the upper die. A bottom face of the stop projection for engaging with the stop groove is an inclined face that rises toward a front end of the stop projection.
