Power transmission system for hybrid vehicle

Provided is a vehicle control apparatus. To start an engine by a motor-generator under the state that a vehicle is stopped, the vehicle control apparatus synchronizes a rotation of the engine with a rotation of the motor-generator at a synchronous rotational speed lower than a target rotational speed to start the engine, and increases a rotational speed of the engine by the motor-generator from the synchronous rotational to the target rotational speed, and starts the engine at the target rotational speed.

To provide a vehicle control apparatus which can suppress a shock in a clutch from being generated at a time of starting an engine by a motor in a vehicle having the clutch provided therein between the engine and the motor, thereby improving a drivability of the vehicle. Provided is a vehicle control apparatus, comprising: an engine, a motor generator connected to vehicle wheels of a vehicle, and a clutch that switches a transmission state between a disengaging state and an engaging state, in which the vehicle control apparatus switches the clutch in the engaging state to start the engine by the motor generator. When the engine is started by the motor generator, the vehicle control apparatus constantly keeps the compensation torque of the motor generator smaller than the clutch torque of the clutch.

A vehicle control device includes: an engine and a first motor generator from both of which a driving force for traveling is output to drive wheels; and an electricity storage device that storages electric power for driving the first motor generator. When a vehicle weight is in a reference state at a time of deceleration braking, the first motor generator is mainly caused, out of the first motor generator and the engine, to generate a braking force, and when the vehicle weight is greater than that in the reference state, the engine is mainly caused, out of the first motor generator and the engine, to generate the braking force. Thus, a sufficient braking force can be obtained while an input limit of the electricity storage device is prevented from being reached.

Disclosed is a control device for a vehicle including an engine and a motor generator both for supplying a travel driving force to a driving wheel. The control device causes the engine to stop while the vehicle is traveling on a descending slope under constant vehicle speed control where the vehicle is controlled to travel at a predetermined vehicle speed. That reduces a load on a brake device.

To provide a driving system for a vehicle that can fulfill both drivability and regeneration efficiency. The driving system for the vehicle includes: an engine; a motor generator connected to a wheel; a clutch that changes transmission state between a disengagement state in which the engine is disengaged from the motor generator and an engagement state in which the engine is at least slightly engaged with the motor generator; and a one-way clutch capable of transmitting only power in a forward rotational direction from the engine to the motor generator, in which, when the power of the engine is transmitted to the motor generator, a first transmission method for transmitting the power through the one-way clutch with the clutch left disengaged and a second transmission method for transmitting the power through the clutch with the clutch engaged are changed in accordance with a vehicle state.

A control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle which is provided with an engine and an electric motor each functioning as a drive power source, and a clutch selectively connecting the engine and the electric motor to each other, said control apparatus being configured to switch a drive mode of the hybrid vehicle between an engine-driven running with at least said engine of the drive power source consisting of the engine and said electric motor used as the drive power source and with said clutch placed in a fully engaged state, and an electric-motor-driven running with said electric motor used as the drive power source and with said clutch placed in a released state, includes: a clutch temperature calculating portion configured to calculate, during said engine-driven running, an estimated temperature of said clutch upon a next engaging action of the clutch for switching of said drive mode from the following electric-motor-driven running back to the engine-driven running; and a switching control portion configured to continue the engine-driven running while inhibiting a releasing action of said clutch if said estimated temperature of the clutch calculated by said clutch temperature calculating portion is not lower than a predetermined overheat threshold value.
