A vehicle passenger seat assembly includes a passenger seat and a rail system. The passenger seat includes a seat base and a seat back connected to the seat base. The passenger seat is movable between a seated condition for accommodating a seated passenger and non-seated condition where the passenger seat is tilted forward in a front-rear direction of the vehicle about a forward end portion of the seat base. The rail system is mounted to the seat base and configured to have mounted thereto a child car seat. The rail system is configured to move the child car seat along a lateral direction of the passenger seat between at least two seating locations defined by the passenger seat. The rail system is movable independent of the passenger seat to a forward tilted position to allow for movement of the passenger seat between the seated condition and the non-seated condition.

An adjustable seat system for use with a vehicle, with the system including a cushion associated with a passenger seat of the vehicle. The cushion includes a support structure and a bladder encapsulating the support structure, wherein the support structure is formed from a porous foam material. The system also includes an actuator in communication with the bladder, wherein the actuator is configured to selectively adjust the hardness of the cushion by inflating and deflating the bladder.

A vehicle includes a vehicle seat including a plurality of actuatable massage elements. The vehicle includes a dedicated physical massage function button located on a dash or a console of the vehicle. The vehicle includes a display configured to present a menu of vehicle configuration options when the dedicated physical massage function button is held for a threshold amount of time. The vehicle includes a memory and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The processor is configured to receive, from a user, a selection of the configuration options for the vehicle seat presented on the display. The processor is configured to receive a signal indicating that the dedicated massage function button is pressed. The processor is configured to activate the plurality of actuatable massage elements according to the selection of configuration options in response to the signal indicating that the dedicated massage function button is pressed.

A vehicle seat storage system includes a passenger seat including a seatback and a seat base. The seat has a seating condition where the seat is releasably attached to a floor of the vehicle and a stowed condition where the seat is unattached from the floor and the seat base is folded against the seatback. The seat includes risers pivotally attached to the seat base. The risers have a deployed position for supporting the seat base in the seating condition and a folded position where the risers are folded inwardly against the seat base in the stowed condition. An interior sidewall of the vehicle includes a recessed portion sized and configured to receive the seat in the stowed condition. The interior sidewall includes a guide configured to direct the seat in the stowed condition into and out of the recessed portion and support the seat in recessed portion.

A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat base connected to a seat back. The seat base has a cushion portion and a support portion for supporting the cushion portion. The cushion portion is movable between a seating condition where the cushion portion forms a seating surface and non-seating condition where the cushion portion is tilted forward relative to the seat back about a forward end portion of the support portion. A rail system is mounted to the support portion. In the seating condition the rail system is covered by the cushion portion, and in the non-seating condition the rail system is configured to have mounted thereto an associated child car seat. The rail system is configured to move the associated child seat along a lateral direction of the vehicle seat assembly between a first outboard seating location and a center seating location defined by the seat base.

A rearview obstruction camera system provides rearward view if visibility to a driver as a result of cargo impacts a view directly out the rear windshield. Likewise, an occupant(s) sitting in the rear seats can obstruct the view of the driver out the rear the vehicle. In both instances the rearward view is potentially compromised. By using a sensor(s), the rearview obstruction camera system can detect if the line of sight of the driver out the rear of the vehicle is obstructed. If obstructed, the rearview camera captures a live feed of traffic behind a vehicle and the image is displayed in front of the driver (e.g. on the rearview mirror, navigation display, or the like).

A pocket assembly for accommodating a portable electronic device in a vehicle includes a storage compartment and at least one port disposed within the storage compartment for operatively connecting to the portable electronic device. The storage compartment is disposed within the vehicle and is defined by at least one wall. An aperture is defined in the at least one wall for receiving an excess portion of a connecting cord adapted to operatively connect the portable electronic device to the at least one port.

An articulating speaker assembly for a sound system of a vehicle includes a speaker that is mounted in a trim panel of the vehicle and is movable from a first stowed position corresponding to a typical vehicle speaker location to a deployed position wherein the speaker is configured to direct sound towards an exterior of the vehicle. In one embodiment, the articulating speaker is generally flush with the trim panel when it is in the stowed position, and when it is in the deployed position, is rotated approximately 90&#xb0; and spaced apart from the trim panel.

A removable structural component of the vehicle is configured to releasably engage the vehicle and includes at least two extendable leg elements configured to support the structural component as a table when positioned on a surface outside of the vehicle. A removable rear passenger seat is configured to releasably engage a seat mounting member secured to the vehicle and includes at least two legs configured to support the rear passenger seat when positioned on a surface outside of the vehicle.
