A reaction unit for catalytic conversion of a hydrocarbon or hydrocarbon containing feedstock to a petrochemical mixture, includes a housing; a fluid bed distributor plate located at a bottom of the housing; a regeneration zone and a stripping zone located above the fluid bed distributor plate, in which catalytic particles are housed; a reaction zone located above the stripping zone; and a condensation zone located above the reaction zone, in which a petrochemical product fluid is condensed.

Zoned fluidization process for catalytic conversion of hydrocarbon feedstocks to petrochemicals

According to one or more embodiments, cationic polymers may be produced which include one or more monomers containing cations. Such cationic polymers may be utilized as structure directing agents to for mesoporous zeolites. The mesoporous zeolites may include micropores as well as mesopores, and may have a surface area of greater than 350 m/g and a pore volume of greater than 0.3 cm/g. Also described are core/shell zeolites, where at least the shell portion includes a mesoporous zeolite material.

Cationic polymers and porous materials

According to one or more embodiments, a mesoporous zeolite may included a microporous framework that includes a plurality of micropores having diameters of less than or equal to 2 nm, and a plurality of mesopores having diameters of greater than 2 nm and less than or equal to 50 nm. The mesoporous zeolite may included an aluminosilicate material, a titanosilicate material, or a pure silicate material. The mesoporous zeolite may included a surface area of greater than 350 m/g and a pore volume of greater than 0.3 cm/g.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for methods that can be used to produce carbon nanotubes (hereinafter CNT) having an inner diameter about 5-55 nm, methods of tuning the inner diameter of CNTs (e.g., by adjusting reaction pressure), CNTs having an inner diameter of greater than 20 nm or more, and the like.
